He made a transphobic joke about Bruce Jenner at the iHeart Radio Awards. Do you think it was funny or should he apologize? Discuss.March 31, 2015 at 4:49 am #410423
People need backbones. Why does everyone have to be PC? I didn’t think it was funny though.March 31, 2015 at 6:40 am #410424
Kendall was laughing at Bruce jokes on the Beiber roast last night. I don’t think they care.March 31, 2015 at 8:00 am #410425
I thought the joke was in poor taste. Maybe it wouldn’t have come off as rude had any of his jokes before that one worked. He was really not funny and bad as a host.March 31, 2015 at 8:04 am #410426
Bruce Jenner is a public figure. I know what he is going through is a very personal thing, and it shouldn’t be the butt of jokes, but the fact is any public figure is by the definition, going to be privy to jokes. I thought the joke wasn’t too bad – it isn’t funny, but it could have been MUCH worse, like transphobic or insulting. Instead he simply said Bruce will be performing a “his and her” duet – I don’t really see how that deserves the insane controversy.March 31, 2015 at 6:36 pm #410427
It’s so ridiculous when people choose who they’re going to complain about and who they’re going to force to apologize. Just like the Giuliana/Zendaya thing. Is this the first transgender joke made about Bruce Jenner? Hell no. Why complain now?
It wasn’t offensive at all. The joke wasn’t about transgender people, it was about Bruce Jenner, remember him?, the Kardashian’s stepfather, the one that was joked about last year and the year before that and nobody cared. Nobody complained before, why complain now? Because he’s transitioning? Because he will become a “minority”? So now he’s off limits when it comes to jokes? Please.
Before this news got out and everybody McHale, Fallon, among others, were making joking jokes about him looking like a woman nobody was accusing them of anything. Were the people joking about Justin Bieber looking like a lesbian homophobic? No.
Also, besides the man/woman joke, Foxx made a comment about his balls. Similar jokes haven been made by other comedians specially Joel McHale.March 31, 2015 at 6:39 pm #410428
The only true way to know is to ask a transgender person. Just because it may have not been offensive to you doesn’t mean it wasn’t to transgender people.April 1, 2015 at 5:34 am #410429
I don’t think it was offensive. It was a joke.
We have gotten to the point in our society where we are so extremely PC that know all someone has to do is say they are “offended” by something and an uproar occurs. I am sure most transgender people have more important things to worry about then what a actor has to say about Bruce Jenner. What is often funny is the people who are “offended” aren’t even members of the group that the comment or whatever was directed at.April 1, 2015 at 1:18 pm #410430
Honey, people need to grow a pair. Stop letting every little thing get to you. The joke was NOT offensive.April 1, 2015 at 2:28 pm #410431

Honey, I Agree!April 1, 2015 at 6:44 pm #410432
People need to stop being so sensitive.
And WOW! I never thought I would see Final2 and Gucci ever agree on anything.
