Did you like,hate,enjoy,sleep through,wish you never watched…..February 8, 2015 at 8:42 pm #409145
It was a typical Grammy telecast. People will say it was boring and predictable, but you can say that about every freaking year.February 8, 2015 at 8:44 pm #409146
^ true. But this year was even more so.February 8, 2015 at 8:45 pm #409147
Too many performances and not enough awards.
Felt rushed with how they were so quick to play the music to cut off the speeches.February 8, 2015 at 8:50 pm #409148
The winners were so predictable. Almost every performance was a ballad. Really wish Iggy and Jennifer performed Trouble or Taylor performed Blank Space or Style. And I hated that they interrupted some speeches. Cant wait for next year.February 8, 2015 at 8:50 pm #409149
The winners were decent to good.
The performances were just too slow + the way everything was arranged was off.February 8, 2015 at 8:54 pm #409150
I didn’t like it very much. I’m sure most performances would stand on their own by themselves, but mostly this was a very sleepy telecast. For an event this size, it really lacked fun, energy and spectacule. I’m not saying you can’t have serious performances and ballads, but you need to find a proper ballance. There were many artists that could have done something more entertaining but got stuck with being self-important and aiming for “emotional”. I really hope they try to compensate that next year.February 8, 2015 at 9:30 pm #409151
The way they arranged awards was weird. Album of the Year usually goes last and then they gave out the last award 30 minutes before the ceremony actually ended.February 8, 2015 at 9:34 pm #409152
Last year’s performances were much more exciting
More AWARDS at this AWARDS SHOW, pleaseFebruary 8, 2015 at 9:55 pm #409153
I know it sounds chliche but honestly this year was boring. It wasnt what it was hyped up too be. Wayyy too many performances not to speak on the fact that 90 % of them were boring and awkwardly arranged, i’m pretty sure most people tuned out half way. Also only 9 awards were presented like what’s up with that?February 8, 2015 at 9:57 pm #409154
Overall, this year’s show was pretty lackluster to me.
they showed far too little awards on TV and they didn’t televise a
single rap category. They wasted time that could have gone to presenting
more awards with bloat that didn’t need to be there. I wouldn’t be
surprised in a few years they only present the General Field on TV. Also, not presenting AOTY, the biggest award of the night, last rubbbed me the wrong way.
far as the performances go, way to many ballads/slow songs and only one
or two uptempo songs. It made the show drag. They need more balance
with the typres of performances.
As far as winners, there were
some surprises. Ain’t it Fun winning Best Rock Song, St. Vincent winning
Best Alternative Album, Pharell winning Pop Solo and especially him
winning Urban Contemporary album over Beyonce. But a lot of expected
choices as well.
Here’s to next year’s show being better.February 8, 2015 at 10:17 pm #409155
My biggest complaint was they gave the winners 10-20 seconds to accept. That’s ridiculous. It felt boring to give Sam Smith every single award pretty much. Felt like Sia really deserved Record of the Year. Performances were good, Annie Lennox and Sia were the stand outs. They really need to pick a better host. LL Cool J just slows things downFebruary 8, 2015 at 10:33 pm #409156
I liked this year more than lasts and I thought it was pretty good, best moment was Hozier and Annie freakin Lennox.February 8, 2015 at 11:14 pm #409157
The grammy show i probably disliked the most since watching it back in 2009.She show was pretty bad and rushed
