“Say Something” is MOR that the voters would like, but I’m thinking this is where Coldplay could win it over the collaborations. It’s between those two.

Should win: Coldplay – A Sky Full of Stars
Will win:  maybe A Great Big World & Christina? Maybe Bang Bang? Have no idea.

I don’t like how collaborations and groups get put together in the one category. They are different things completely. Just because there might be additional vocals? There are SO many categories at the Grammys, yet these are all grouped together?

This category is stacked. Probably the most competitive this year. All 5 five songs are commercial smashes. Anyone can take this. “Say Something” is such a great ballad that many people can relate critics praised Xtina for showing restraint on the song. “Fancy” is nominated in the general field and could prevail, but it’s Rap/Sung. “Bang Bang” has great vocalists and the song is pretty memorable, “Dark Horse” could finally get Katy her gRammy, it’s the biggest seller on the list I believe. And Coldplay is a Grammy favorite.
I’m gonna be biased and give it to SS. Just cause I want Xtina to finally get that 6th Grammy. But anyone could win here.

It’s becoming odd to see so many songs in this category featuring rappers. “Bang Bang” and “Dark Horse” are both pretty awful. Coldplay is Coldplay and has the veteran vote, though it’s a bit weird seeing them in the Pop field. Iggy & Charli XCX occupy the ROTY slot. “Say Something” is the classiest entry and pure Grammy bait, but A Great Big World is a new indie act and Christina’s hit or miss. I guess I’ll vote for “Say Something,” but I’m very iffy on this prediction. I’d get a kick out of “Fancy” winning the category.

Jessie J/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry/Juicy J’s songs suck.  Iggy Azalea/Charlie XCX, while nominated for ROTY (which really means nothing), are too generic to win here.  That leaves Coldplay and A Great Big World/Christina Aguilera.  Voters love Coldplay.  Never underestimate them.  A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera’s song is pure Grammy bait.  Plus, it’s the best song in this line-up.

SHOULD WIN: A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera, “Say Something”
WILL WIN: A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera, “Say Something”

well, well, well SS made it after all

It’s definitely between that and Coldplay.

The other nominees are filler pop hits that the voters nominate because of their success. They have no real chance at winning.

    the song is great
the only one who can get this before Dark Horse is Say Something
I don’t see Coldplay, Iggy and JJ, Ariana & Nicki winning this

I could see Katy pulling off a win here actually. “Dark Horse” being such a massive success and the fact that it’s her most unique song, could help her tremendously.

Say Something is taking it. It’s a smaltzy ballad which is right up NARAS’ alley.
