“Mercy” will go Best Rap Performance.

I’m not sure how eligible “In Paris” is, but I could see that taking it if nominated.

    Best Rap Performance Predictions:

Kanye West feat. Big Sean & 2 Chainz – “Mercy”

    Jay-Z & Kanye West – “In Paris”

    Nas – “Daughters”

Drake & Lil Wayne – “The Motto”

Nicki Minaj & 2Chainz – “Beez in the Trap”

    Best Rap Album:

    Drake – Take Care

    Nas – Life Is Good

    Rick Ross – God Forgives, I Don’t

    G.O.O.D. Music – Cruel Summer

    Wale – Ambition

    Best Rap/Sung Collaboration:

Drake & Rihanna – “Take Care”

Wale & Miguel – “Lotus Flower Bomb”

    J. Cole & Missy Elliott – “Nobody’s Perfect”

50 Cent, Dr. Dre & Alicia Keys – “New Day”

Jay-Z, Kanye West & Frank Ocean – “No Church in the Wild”

Lotus Flower Bomb is Wale and Miguel (who deserved some Sure Thing love last year), not Khalifa

    Best Rap/Sung Collaboration:

Drake & Rihanna – “Take Care”

Wale & Wiz Khalifa – “Lotus Flower Bomb”

    J. Cole & Missy Elliott – “Nobody’s Perfect”

50 Cent, Dr. Dre & Alicia Keys – “New Day”

Jay-Z, Kanye West & Frank Ocean – “No Church in the Wild”

Nicki Minaj is a shoo-in for another Best Rap Album nomination.

I’m not predicting Nicki Minaj and don’t think she’s a shoo-in. I only think she will get nominated for “Beez in the Trap.”

    Thanks for the suggestions!

Anyone remembers if ‘Workout’ by J. Cole was submitted last year? Azealy Banks could get any nom? What ’bout ‘She Will’ by Lil Wayne & Drake. Also, would Mary J. Blige’s label submit ‘Mr. Wrong (ft. Drake)’ to any category on this field, or is she a R&B exclusive? Same case for Frank Ocean, would the label capitalise on the success of ‘Channel Orange’ and send something from it to this field? I haven’t listended to the album entirely, so I dunno if it contains some brief raping.

Frank Ocean could submit that song with Andre 3000 to Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

I’d consider adding Brandy/Chris Brown – “Put It Down”, Keyshia Cole/Lil’ Wayne – “Enough of No Love”, and possibly Rihanna/Chris Brown – “Birthday Cake” to Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

I can see why people would predict a snub for Nicki Minaj. The album is essentially POP but I still have a feeling she’ll make it into Best Rap Album. Just a hunch.

The BET Hip Hop Awards snubbed Nicki Minaj and her records haven’t been getting huge spins on urban radio, so it’s quite evident that there is a backlash going on in the urban community. I still predict a Rap Album snub for her. We have strong enough albums to take her spot.

Did Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa submit their song last year? If not, I think they will get a nomination this year in the Collaboration category
