Who do you feel was snubbed in the Pop Categories in the 90s?

I am surprised that Vogue by Madonna and Where Does My Heart Beat Now by Celine Dion did not make into Pop Female for 1990.

Surprisingly Madonna was ultimately snubbed here as well:
    “Vogue”
    “Take a Bow”
    “You’ll See”
Not to mention in 98′ how did she win Pop Album and not even get into Pop Female? Idk if she submitted but any of the of the other singles sides ROL would’ve been worthy.

Was also surprised Whitney didn’t get in pop female for anything off of “My Love is Your Love.”

I think that considering how big they were and how much they influenced the Teen Pop explosion of the 90’s the fact that Spice Girls never got even a single Grammy nod is surprising.  Grammy embraced boy bands like Backstreet Boys who got a few Grammy nods over the years, but never won…   I mean hell, even Britney Spears has a Grammy for Dance Recording and Xtina Aguilera has had a great relationship with Grammy.      I think at least 1 nomination would have been justified.

Tina Turner – Goldeneye for Pop Female 1996

This is one of my favorite songs by Tina Turner and her delivery of this song was amazing.

Mariah Carey’s snub in Pop Vocal Album for Butterfly is a huge snub.  That was a fantastic album and IMO should have won that category, I think I might have nominated her in some of the general categories for that album.

Was Butterfly submitted to Pop Album or R&B Album?

I actually do not know for sure, but I assume Pop because I think Columbia wanted Mariah to stay a Pop artist and was always hesitant to let her branch out and do R&B.
