I think it will be either Adele (obvious choice) with maybe another huge hit from “25” or Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar (their 1st performance together) with Bad Blood and maybe some of her “Squad” on stage.

Taylor already opened the show just a couple of years ago. There’s no need to shove her down our throats again this season.

Didn’t Gaga open two shows in a row?

No. Lady Gaga & Elton John opened in 2010. Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson & co. opened in 2011.

My money is on Adele or Janet Jackson but I wouldnt mind seeing Rhianna or maybe a country act open the show.

Adele is the obvious choice, but I could see her also doing a mid-show performance as well, or perhaps even closing out the night to keep viewers tuned in.

Adele seems like the obvious choice right now, I can’t think of anybody else.

Either Adele or Taylor Swift.   They seem the most obvious choices.   However it could also be somebody from a genre like Country or Rap.

The Weeknd and Nicki Minaj could be a fun opener.

I think Adele or Janet, but …
    Why
not a multi-artist performance to open Grammys like 2005?

    (Black Eyed Peas,
Gwen Stefani & Eve, Maroon 5, Franz Ferdinand, and The Lonley Boys)
    . It
    could be fun!

    Multi artist
    performance – Options:

    • Macklemore & Ryan
      Lewis
    • Meghan Trainor
    • Alabama Shakes
    • Imagine Dragons
    • Leon Bridges
    • George Ezra
    • Major Lazer & DJ
      Snake Featuring M0
    • Elle King
    • James Bay
    • OMI
    • Sam Hunt
    • Skrillex and Diplo with
      Justin Bieber
    • Nicki Minaj
    • Cold War Kids
    • Nicki Minaj
    • Ellie Goulding
    • Rachel Platten
    • Walk The Moon
