That’s hard to pick. Well, right off the top of my head, I’d say my favorites are:
(I decided not to repeat artists to have more variety)

    *****

    01. “Merry Go ‘Round” – Kacey Musgraves
(Kacey is my favorite country artist releasing music in the past 10 years, so obviously she’s at the top of my list. I chose “Merry Go ‘Round” mostly because it was the first song that really made me a fan. Choosing just one song from her amazing catalog was the hardest part of this list)

    02. “Turning Home” – David Nail
(This is probably my favorite country vocal performance of the last 10 years. This songs is great but David just take it to the next level with his performance)

    03. “Somewhere With You” – Kenny Chesney
(This song has been a favorite of mine since I’ve heard the original demo of it with Shane McAnally a couple of years before it was even recorded and released by Kenny. I just love it’s mood…)

    04. “What I Cannot Change” – LeAnn Rimes
(All things align on this one. The lyrics are so touching and heartfelt, I love the simple production and LeAnn’s delivery is just perfect.)

    05. “This Is Me You’re Talking To” – Trisha Yearwood
(What can I say…Trisha is just a class act! This songs is a perfect example of that. Love it.)

    06. “Colder Weather” – Zac Brown Band
(I love Zac Brown doing slower songs like this… Actually, It’s quite scary how much he sounds like James Taylor in some parts here. This is definitely my favorite ZBB song!)

    07. “The House That Built Me” – Miranda Lambert
(This song epitomizes what’s great about country music: telling a simple storie about real life. I love how this song is so simple and yet so powerful. I think everyone can relate and it has that nostalgia factor that really gets to me)

    08. “Girl Crush” – Little Big Town
(Damn… how great is this song?? There’s no way I could leave this out of my list)

    09. “Sounds So Good” – Ashton Shepherd
(This is my go-to “feel good country record”… It’s usually the first track on my road trip playlist! haha)

    10. “Last Call” – Lee Ann Womack
(Lee Ann is another example of a class act… her songs and performances are usually so on point that makes it hard to single out just one song. I decided for this song because it was such a great way to welcome her Call Me Crazy era… I just love that album)
