What are your personal Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees? You can also choose artists that haven’t been inducted yet.

At this point I just want Janet Jackson to be inducted; and i’d like to see Cher get inducted. I also want to see hip-hop/rap represented more and would like to see Salt-N-Pepa inducted as well as Missy Elliot, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Puff Daddy (Sean Combs).

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I’m just going to say it: The Cranberries belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I realize that they fell off quickly after 1996 and weren’t nearly as influential or critically adored as other artists, but they’re one of the most commercially successful bands in the 90s with 40 million record sales worldwide. Also, you could argue that three of the songs could be considered some of the greatest ever: “Zombie”, “Linger” and “Dreams”.

Other artists that belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:

    Radiohead
    Rage Against the Machine
    Soundgarden
    Judas Priest
    Iron Maiden
    Janet Jackson
    Whitney Houston
    The Smiths
    Lionel Richie

Does Puff Daddy/Diddy/whatever he goes by next lol have the amount of years for consideration? I’m trying to remember when his first album was out but I’m drawing a blank. LOVE that idea though.

Why aren’t Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? C’mon! They’re some of the biggest music icons in history!

Is it because they’re Black women? The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seem to be biased against women of color until they pass away like Donna Summer. Aretha and The Supremes are the only exceptions.
