    1. campaigning hard can do wonders (Chance the Rapper);
    2. Streisand & Dylan can get nominated but there is not enough love to let them win;
    3. voters can sometimes choose quality over popularity (Solange & Maxwell over Rihanna, Cage the Elephant over Weezer & PAnic! At the Disco which still is a very rare thing).

    what else? 😉

    I think when you say ‘big money’ it sounds like a discredit. Adele sells albums because she’s good, cause she is universal, you may like her as much as your parents and your grandparents, who now a days have such a power? For example, in the past, ABBA.

    That stans take this award way too seriously when the Simpsons showed that not even homeless people wanted one back in the early 90s.

    Unless they’re Disney soundtracks I suppose. Luke Bryan & Justin Timberlake were pretty big for 2013.
    And Ed/Sam/Bey all had pretty big sellers but lost against Beck.
    Red sold way better than Daft Punk.

    That for Beyonce to win Album of the year she needs to do a worthy production, she has not done that yet.

    Voters will always go with the “safest” choice for Album of the Year.

    1. The Recording Academy loves Adele so much. Every time she would get nominated, she would probably win it. She already won 15/18.
    2. Gaga can definitely perform metal.

    I learned that my most favorite female singer still has more Grammy awards than any other singer in music history! (smiles)

    God bless you and Alison Krauss always!!!

    Holly (a fan of her since 1994)

    P.S. She is just four behind the person with the most which is late conductor Georg Solti. May her new album named Windy City, released this Friday, add to her current total of 27 during next years show! (smiles)

    Go here to check out my most favorite singer James Otto!
