Taylor swift and Selena Gomez wouldn’t even get in. Bruno Mars would win as well as Arianna Grande. Someone like Victoria Justice would have an amazing singing career if they went on this show. Demi Lovato would do well.

If it were based only on voice, Pink would do well; but with Idol image is so important I think she would have been eliminated in the auditions round by the judges.

Christina Aguilera would have won the show, IMHO.    Britney would have been very popular but I don’t think her voice alone would have helped her much.

If Idol was around in the late 80’s, I have no doubt Mariah Carey would have won the show.  

I think people like Paula Cole, Sarah McLachlan, Lisa Loeb would have all been discarded by the judges.

A lot of these people would have done well but basically if you weren’t a WGWG after season 4 you did not stand a chance at winning.
