Fancy – Iggy Azalea ft Charli XCX

It also blocked Problem – Ariana Grande also featuring Iggy, which deserved the spot so much more

this always baffled me. Problem was arguably a more popular song than Fancy… (definately more deserving of No. 1 from a musical standpoint.)

It has always rubbed me the wrong way that “Crack a Bottle” was Eminem’s only #1 of the first decade of the 2000s other than “Lose Yourself” just because it was his first release after his semi-retirement.

A lot of bad Katy Perry songs have topped the chart, as well as some random ones like “Part of Me”.

Amigos, Tik Tok because it should have been Bad Romance’s position, it is obviously more classic than Kesha’s hit will ever be.

Totally agree about Katy Perry. It’s so weird that she had so many songs hit number one that were fine but not number one material. Now, she has some decent music and she can’t even make it back into the top ten.

I’m just going to focus on Mariah Carey and her 18 number one singles. Really? Mariah Carey is between The Beatles and Elvis for most number one singles? She is only second on that list because of her marriage to Tommy Matolla and her discounted cassette gave her way too many number one hits including:
    “Touch My Body”
    “Don’t Forget About Us”
    “Thank God I Found You”
    “My All”

and “One Sweet Day” should not hold the record for longest weeks at number one!
