How confident is everyone with their Grammy predictions in the four General Field categories? We all know that the Grammys can be notoriously hard to predict with the nominations always producing shocks in terms of who does and doesn’t get in.
With Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, I honestly don’t have a clue but I’m actually pretty confident with my predictions for Album of the Year:
- To Pimp a Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar
- 1989, Taylor Swift
- Sonic Highways, Foo Fighters
- Beauty Behind the Madness, The Weeknd
- E-MO-TION, Carly Rae Jepsen

I’m pretty confident in all the categories, except BNA. There are few open slots that could go to anyone.November 17, 2015 at 7:51 am #413852
I dont feel confident ever when it comes to my Grammy predictions. I played it safe this time around so hopefully that works.November 17, 2015 at 11:48 am #413853
I’m confident about Taylor getting nominated for AOTY, Pop Vocal Album, and Pop Solo Performance (“Blank Space”) – I’m not entirely sold on ROTY/SOTY nominations.
I’m confident in Kendirck Lamar getting nominated for AOTY.
I’m confident in Hozier and Meghan Trainor getting nominated for BNA.November 17, 2015 at 4:47 pm #413854
I can easily come up with 3 or 4 nominees in each category, but there’s always the out of nowhere nominees. I’m pretty confident because the Grammys have edged close to just being the Billboard Music awards this decade.November 18, 2015 at 10:50 am #413855
Meghan, Hozier, Chris Stapleton, James Bay & Goerge Ezra for the Best New Artist…November 20, 2015 at 8:51 pm #413856

The categories seem so barren this year so I think we will see some of the most shocking nominations in a while (like the time Sara Bareilles got into AOTY). So no one should feel confident in their predictions, especially because I think there will be some record and song nominations that aren’t even in the prediction center.
