Who’s on your Grammy Christmas wish list this year? Which artist does Santa Claus need to visit?

    Florence and the Machine
    Disclosure
Giorgio Moroder (especially “Right Here Right Now” featuring Kylie Minogue)
    Rihanna’s “FourFiveSeconds”
Lana Del Rey (I feel she’s the opposite of Adele in terms of recognition)
Björk, outside of the Best Alternative Album

    1. Sufjan Stevens for Alternative Album (and anywhere else submitted) for the beautiful Carrie & Lowell, the best album eligible for this year’s Grammy awards (bested only by Grimes’ Art Angels as the best album of 2015)

    2. FKA Twigs for Best New Artist

    3. Kendrick Lamar for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for the anthemic “Alright”

    4. Carly Rae Jepsen for Album of the Year for E-MO-TION and Pop Solo Performance / Pop Vocal Album nods for the best pure pop album of the year

    5. CHVRCHES in Best Pop Group Performance for “Leave a Trace”

Not so much this year, but in the next year or two years I’d like to see:

Janet Jackson. I want her to win several Grammy’s for “Unbreakable”. It would be nice if she’d be received by Grammy as “a legend who needs to win a bunch of Grammy’s as a retrospective on her career” or “an overdue artist” (as she’s never won in the General Field).    She needs to win AOTY, ROTY and SOTY, IMHO.

Lady Gaga  I’d like to see win a bunch more Grammy’s

“Dreams” is 100% a pop song through and through.

    • “Elastic Heart” in Song of the Year
    • D’Angelo or Kendrick winning AOTY
    • FKA Twigs winning BNA
    • Florence, Lana, and Carly Rae Jepsen all getting into Pop Album (but I’m still here for Taylor Swift to win)
    • Beach House, Sufjan Stevens, and Father John Misty all getting into Alternative Album. Wouldn’t mind any of them winning. A win for Alabama Shakes, Bjork, or Tame Impala wouldn’t be underserved either.
    • “Til It Happens To You” by Lady Gaga in Song for Visual Media
