Pop is such a loose term, but let’s try it out. In no particular order…

    Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
    – Phoenix (2009)
    Body Talk – Robyn (2010)
    Days – Real Estate (2011)
Heartthrob – Tegan and Sara (2013)
    Beyoncé – Beyoncé (2013)
Days Are Gone – Haim (2013)
    Avalanche – Quadron (2013)
True Romance – Charli XCX (2013)
    Sucker – Charli XCX (2014)
Goon – Tobias Jesso Jr. (2015)

There are many albums that I wanted to include, but really aren’t “pop.” Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, for example, are far too prone to experimentation and non-traditional songwriting to really count as pop artists. They are artists with songs that are popular and accessible, but their work, especially Kendrick’s, tends to be far headier.

I don’t see why it can’t be both.

I can’t really go with 10 choices since pure pop albums aren’t really my thing, but from the lists you guys are making, I would choose Future Sex Love Sounds.

My winner won’t even be known around these parts since it’s in spanish, but it’s easily La Oreja the Van Gogh’s Guapa. You can’t get any more pop than that, or a more amazing pop album that that one. It’s just brilliant.

It’s just my opinion all of its single but XO weren’t pop it was just more R&B unlike Sasha Fierce. It wasn’t regulated to pop at the Grammys like most artists that aren’t pop like Florance and the Machine or Lana Del Rey. But that just my opinion.

I feel like people are confused whether or not you meant “pop” as in popular albums for the last 10 years or the genre “pop”.
