I’m not a fan of the band, but it’s clear that he has a lot of stuff going on in his personal life, and hope he sorts out all of those demons in his life.March 25, 2015 at 9:49 am #410271
Knew it was gonna happen eventually but who really cares other than little girls?March 25, 2015 at 9:53 am #410272
Clearly you cared enough to comment.
It’s unfortunate. Zayn was my favorite member of the group.March 25, 2015 at 9:57 am #410273
Never a big fan of the band, but Zayn always felt a bit disconnected. It definitely seems like he’s got a lot going on in his personal life, so this is probably for the best. Truthfully, the band’s popularity will not be affected by this.March 25, 2015 at 10:24 am #410274
I’m expecting he’ll do a Robbie Williams or Geri Halliwell, and have a succesful solo career.March 25, 2015 at 10:41 am #410276
What a sad day for British Menudo fans.March 25, 2015 at 12:45 pm #410277
Yes! I’m happyMarch 25, 2015 at 1:48 pm #410278
I don’t like One Direction, but being in the group is obviously affecting his relationship, so I think this is the best for Zayn and I wish him the best.
This is just the beginnig, I give them 1 year until the entire band breaks up (Sorry Directioners)March 25, 2015 at 2:35 pm #410279
Robbie Williams is an effective songwriter. I can’t say the same ability for Zayn Malik. Yes, he has a nice voice but it’s not enough for today’s music. If he wants a long career, he has to make very different music from he did with 1D. How many popular male acts which don’t write their own songs do we know today? Without 1D, I really don’t see any successful career for him.March 25, 2015 at 3:11 pm #410280
Zayn has been in the studio with Naughty Boy and Emile Sande over the past year. I think a solo career is coming sooner than we think. He’s going to take some time off for now but believe me, he’s still going to release music.March 25, 2015 at 3:13 pm #410281
As a closet Directioner (yeah you heard me), I am sad but I hope that the rest of the band can still do well without him.
Best of luck to Malik and his future.March 25, 2015 at 10:58 pm #410282
I respect his choice to leave but I am also glad the band isn’t giving up. Yes it’ll be different but the other four are just as talentedMarch 26, 2015 at 10:16 am #410283
Zayn was spotted heading into a recording studio a day after the announcement. Normal life? Stress? Yeah right, that solo album is dropping later this year. He better capitalize on the press while it’s hot and release some dope tracks if he wants to remain relevant.
