Wow! That really surprises me! You have your own opinion, so I can’t say nothing about it. But, this is what I believe: Daniel Day-Lewis not only gave one of the best Best Actor winning performances of all-time, but he also gave one of the best performances of all-time, period. With that being said, I choose him easily.

I guess DDL. But had Heath Ledger , Demian Bichir or Javier Bardem (for Biutiful) won in their respective years I’d choose any of them.

    1) Daniel Day-Lewis, There Will Be Blood
    2) Jamie Foxx, Ray
    3) Forest Whitaker, The Last King of Scotland
    4) Sean Penn, Mystic River
    5) Colin Firth, The King’s Speech
    6) Jean Dujardin, The Artist
    7) Daniel Day-Lewis, Lincoln
    8) Sean Penn, Milk
    9) Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart
    10) Philip Seymour Hoffman, Capote (how the hell did he best Heath )

Close call between Day-Lewis (for either), Penn (Milk), and Hoffman…I will give Penn some love. I just LOVED him in Milk!

Colin Firth in my opinion. But DDL for “There Will Be Blood” is a close second. As for Jean Dujardin, I am so conflicted about his win. I liked the movie but I am not quite sure we will see him win again in the future. I can see all of the others winning in the future.
