My Vote goes to Mo’Nique by far
Earlier, I thought of doing this! Ha! Thanks for posting!
Mo’Nique will probably win this, so I will vote for Blanchett.
Hard choice between Cruz, Mo’Nique & Harden… the last 3 of the winners on my list are really upsetting…
Monique by a mile. I’m shocked anyone else has even got a vote.
Mo’nique. And that performance will probably go down on the books as of the one best of all-time.
Mo’Nique. But Tilda killed it and would be my runner-up.
I flipped a coin and it came up Rachel Weisz
|I don’t care which performance won the most awards. The one I admire most here is Rachel Weisz in Constant Gardener. She is such a natural and I truly think few, if any, actresses today can hold the camera as she can. It was a wonderful role for her in a director-driven project, and the presence of Weisz’ character is felt throughout the entire film, in the flashbacks, through Ralph Fiennes’ character’s love for her and search for understanding. You feel her striking charisma and the passion her character has for advocacy and for justice in this lived-in, organic characterization. It’s just the perfect role for what Weisz brings to a film, and I could see her career progression all the way from the first Mummy movie, where she played another persistent and fiercely independent character, leading up to this performance. Unlike many of the winners here, this one took the work of a great actor.|
