There is also Nine, Rock of Ages, and Rent.
I think Chicago is WAY out in front, with it being a much more even playing field if that one film was cut out haha.

5. Phantom of the Opera (haven’t seen it in years, so might affect my ranking)

7. Mamma Mia (5-7 are all close, could probably shift around depending on the day)
8. Les Miserable (So much potential wasted)
9. Haven’t seen Jersey Boys but I didn’t like the musical and from what I hear the movies worse so I doubt I’d like it
Off the top of my head, I’d have to say Chicago, which is a lot of fun. Not deserving of Best Picture, but still quite fun.
