Which Breaking Bad series regular do you think is most likely to find success in film and win an Oscar someday?

Bryan Cranston has already given what is arguably the greatest performance in the history of film and television, so all that he needs is the right role.  Working against him are that he usually appears in minor roles in bad movies, so we will have to see if that was just to make some easy money on the side of the intense Breaking Bad or if he will just keep doing those roles because easy money is easy money.

^ I thought he was miles better than Alan Arkin in Argo last year and the best supporting performance in the film. If anyone was going to get in from that movie it shouldve been him

While he may not have a track record consisting of only great movies, I would hardly call Argo, Drive, The Lincoln Lawyer, Contagion, Little Miss Sunshine, or Saving Private Ryan bad movies. Most of his less-than stellar movies have been received with mixed reviews. It’s not like we’re talking Adam Sandler or Eddie Murphy level of bad quality movies, where we can expect every movie he puts out to be a Razzie contender.

Cranston. I fear Paul might go the action hero route from now on. And Cranston is the only one who has been continuously cast in prestige movies so far. He might win in Supporting Actor at some point.

Bryan Cranston is such a great actor (I still get shivers everytime I think about Crawl Space) but personally speaking I would LOVE to see Aaron Paul getting a couple of noms and maybe a win. I think he would kick some serious ass in a Kathryn Bigelow film. Or Paul Thomas Anderson. (He has Ridley Scott now, lets see what happens)

I want to see Bryan win the Best Actor Oscar.  Someone give him a movie!  Lyndon Johnson maybe could do it.
