The genre categories at the Grammys started in 1994 and I am focusing on the elligibility years of 1994-1999

    Who was your favorite winner?

There were always other albums that were nominated that I preferred over the winner.

Meshell Ndegeocello for Plantation Lullabies or Gladys Knight for Just For You would have been more deserving winners than Boyz II Men.

Patti LaBelle would have been a deserving winner for Flame over Erykah Badu.

TLC Fanmail was not the best album in that bunch.  Mary J. Blige for Mary or Whitney Houston’s My Love Is Your Love would have been more deserving winners.
