David Fincher’s Panic Room (2002) or Christopher Nolan’s Following (1998)
Which film is better?
I think Following is the one Nolan film that everyone just assumes is his worst, but that few people have actually seen. I think it’s fantastic, and shows his talent better than the big budget films, especially his writing talent. It is a screenplay that naturally develops into something great, but paces itself well. I think Panic Room is Fincher’s worst by a mile. No contest for me.
