I think girls is much better but what do you preferJanuary 3, 2014 at 2:29 pm #546510
Veep murders Girls and then eats its remains for dinner.January 3, 2014 at 2:30 pm #546511
Veep by far.
HBO only airs Girls to make its other shows look better.January 3, 2014 at 2:31 pm #546512
Girls has an inconsistent voice and never knows what it wants to say. Veep by far.January 3, 2014 at 2:35 pm #546513
VEEP SHITS ALL OVER GIRLS’ FACEJanuary 3, 2014 at 2:36 pm #546514
No contest. Veep.
I can enjoy (somewhat) the quirkiness of Girls, but it doesn’t really speak to me (I’m too old, really). Veep is much more my kind of humor. I liked it immediately.January 3, 2014 at 2:40 pm #546515

Veep, easily.January 3, 2014 at 3:51 pm #546519
Veep is the better show. But as much as I hate to admit, I think Veep has probably already plateaued, while Girls still has minor potential to improve (potential that is fading away, but still).January 3, 2014 at 3:58 pm #546520
No questions – Veep! My favorite comedy (and probably overall) series of the year.
I gave Girls a very openminded try when it first premiered, but I found it to be overall unfunny and forced.

That’s interesting, Renaton, because I think the set-up for the third season looks very promising and arguably the biggest plot development they have attempted. Seeing Selina on the campaign trail is something they really haven’t explored before, and I think could be terrific! I am a little worried about the dynamics outside of the office though, because that just works so well…

Veep gets my vote, too. I enjoy Girls well enough, but I do think it can be a bit inconsistent.
