Sandra Oh’s performance in “Grey’s Anatomy” is among the best ones in Television history. Period.

Sandra Oh. Despite the series left the awards radar, her performance always was worthy. She should grab at least a pair more nominations.

Also a bit unfair to see Lorraine Toussaint (a dream-nominee) over Chandra Wilson (who actually earned 5 nominations before…) on the list.

I know she was nominated as lead 3 times but Lorraine Bracco should have been supporting every year and should have won that category in 2001 for the episode Employee of The Month. She was never really a lead in my eyes and she committed category fraud in my eyes just like Elizabeth Moss.

Christine Baranski, definitely. As long as The Good Wife lasts, she has a shot. I am still hoping for an upset win this year.

Wow, that is a lot of awesome acting in this category, its hard to pick, but I went with Laura Innes for E.R.   I really can’t remember a time when a side character so quickly came to not only dominate but define the show they are on.  And I don’t think anybody could argue that Dr. Kerry Weaver was anything but a dominant force on E.R., especially in the early years, before the writers kept changing and a whole new ensemble emerged which made Kerry a less needed character.

It’s shocking to me that Innes never won an Emmy for this show.

In second place I’d put Christina Hendricks, as I think you could successfully argue that Joan is perhaps the most memorable female character on this show, or at least as memorable as say, Peggy Olson.

and in third place I’d say Sandra Oh, although I’m tempted to say Lorraine Toussaint, except for the fact she is only in 1 season.

Lorraine Toussaint deserved a nomination for OITNB. I also think Christina Hendricks is outstanding, particularly in the final seven episodes of Mad Men. In many ways she reminds me a bit of Angelina Jolie, but I think she’s a lot better.
