(FYI these are your personal choice)
The Grand Budapest Hotel wins this for me but Into the Woods might give it a run for my money when I see it. I liked Pride and Birdman but I found St. Vincent really lazy
Haven’t seen Into the Woods, but I can’t imagine it beating Grand Budapest for me. I don’t know if anything can.

Like with actor, as much as I want Grand Budapest to win, I think it’ll be Birdman.
FYC: Ready Player One. Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Visual Effects, Original Score, Production Design, Director and BEST PICTURE (make it happen Oscars!!)
2. The Grand Budapest Hotel
3. Into the Woods
5. St. Vincent
Birdman all the way. One of the best movies of 2014, and the only film from this category that I think will go on to receive a Best Picture nomination.
Birdman. Although I did like the other nominees, though.
I voted for Pride.
Now that I have seen all these movies, I would rank them
1. The Grand Budapest Hotel
2. Into the Woods
5. St. Vincent
I’ve only seen Birdman, Pride and Into the Woods, but based on those three at least it’s a pretty strong year for the category. Birdman is one of my favorite films this year, if not that most. Hilarious and exciting and both a technical and acting showcase. Pride was a completely lovable, charming, and uplifiting film. A great ensemble filled with interesting characters who i feel like you don’t often get to see in movies, with a powerful and uplifting feeling throughout the whole thing, and I’ll admit I got a little misty eyed at the ending haha. It would get a vote for BP if I had a ballot. And Into the Woods… yes was a bit of a dissapointment personally but it was pretty good as far as recent musicals go (definitely better than les mis) and I feel like it could have been a lot worse.
I guess my vote goes to Birdman but a part of me really wants to go with Pride as I feel like it’s unfortunately underrated.
