    #1: Anne Hathaway – The Dark Knight Rises ( 29 % ) vs. Les Miserables ( 71 % )
    #2. Bradley Cooper – American Hustle ( 62 % ) vs. TPBTP ( 38 % )
#3. Sandra Bullock- Gravity (97%) vs. The Heat (3%)
#4. Jessica Chastain- The Tree of Life (46%) vs. The Help (54%)

For our next poll, was Moore rightfully honored for her quietly devastating turn in Still Alice, or do you think they should’ve kept her darkly comedic turn in Maps To The Stars in the awards conversation?

Both are great performances but I think Moore rightfully won for Still Alice.

Still Alice is Moore’s Blue Sky.

I voted for Moore’s performance in Maps to the Stars but her work in Still Alice was also award worthy much like 1977 when Diane Keaton had 2 great performance with Annie Hall & Looking for Mr. Goodbar.

Maps to the Stars. No actress in contention for the 2014/15 Oscars gave a better performance than Moore. With that said, I am VERY satisfied with the win for Still Alice. So many layers. It was quite something to see.

She’s amazing in both films, and it really shows her range and adventurousness when choosing roles that these two films would come out in one year. Alice is a better movie than it gets credit for, I suspect that its esteem will rise over time as more people actualy see it. Maps is probably a movie that would never make it in with the academy anyway, but it would have been great if received a qualifying release and Moore was pushed in supporting. It would be unlikely, but a second set of double nominations would be a real achievement worthy of Moore’s work.
