I want to say yes, but her final season wasn’t her best. She should have won an Emmy for the second or the third season which I believe were her best. She always had amazing material, she just never seemed to be able to pull out a win. LOVE her performance though.

But I put yes because I believe she should have ALREADY won an Emmy. But I don’t think she will even get nominated for this season.

I voted for YES because she sould’ve won already, but she did nothing to deserves a nomination or a win in the final season, it wasn’t her fault, but I can’t be blind about that. I would had voted for her in 2009 and/or 2011.

She nixed her Emmy chances when she didn’t submit “No Man is Pudding,” which I think was season four or five. And that was also her last nomination. I think she and this series have fallen waaaay off the radar in terms of getting a nom, but I would welcome it. It’s still a shame she wasn’t nominated for her first season.

I’m still unsure if she would’ve been able to pull off a win against Collette’s work in the pilot of TARA even with No Man Is Pudding as her submission and that being the only year that they nominated Weeds for Comedy Series. But it certainly would have been a race.

Not at this point. It’s like Hugh Laurie in House’s last season. Many would say that he certainly should have won an Emmy at some point in the first 4 years or so, but by the point we got to the end, the material had gotten so weak that there was no way to justify him competing with guys like Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm anymore. He was still giving his all, but good/bad writing really matters in these races.

Looking through the last year, it would be hard for to say that Parker would be more deserving than Fey, Poehler or Dunham, not to mention the unseen Louis-Dreyfus.

No, someone shouldn’t win because they are overdue, they should win because they deserve it for the season they have won for. Parker should have won for season 2, but unfortunately, if I’m not mistaken, she messed up her submission that year. In fact, every time she got nominated, she submitted something underwhelming when compared to the rest of her work on the show.

I voted no because she wont be nominated. That’s a shame because her great work on “Weeds” will never be honored.
