    This is a virtual tie for me. Three family members, three distinct personalities. Impossible choice.

    I saw both movies this weekend…I voted for Pacino here…

    I agree that Castellano should’ve been nominated for Part I, perhaps over Robert Duvall. I saw Joel Grey and haven’t seen Albert. I would’ve voted for Grey and then Pacino (who was so obviouly Lead but you know…)

    And for Part II I would’ve nominated Cazale as well, I don’t know which one to take out though, I guess Lee Strasberg, but he played his sleazy type very very well and Michael V Gazzo was very fun to watch and DeNiro, who I wouldn’t have picked as a winner, was very good too. 

    I haven’t seen Astaire or Bridges, the other nominees from 74.
