    Sandra Bullock- THE BLIND SIDE
    Ann- Margret- TOMMY
Kathleen Turner- PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED
    Sally Kirkland-  ANNA

For me, these are the worst 5 of nominated or oscar-winning roles..

Interesting that the majority people so far are voting for Adam Sandler as Worst Actor and no one is voting for him here as of 6/26. Wasn’t the whole badness of that film Adam Sandler dressed in drag, not Adam Sandler playing Adam Sandler?

There is that whole Adam Sandler isn’t actually an actress thing.

With that line of thinking, should Linda Hunt have won Best Supporting Actor?

Frankly it’s hard to defend any of these performances as they are all pretty terrible.   However, I voted for Mariah because clearly she got in over her head and by the time the movie came out it was clearly not the movie she wanted to make and was designed for 8 year olds.

Well, the poll asks us to vote for our favorite. Sandler is far from my favorite anything. When I think of him as “Jill” I’m reminded of other actual perfs, such as Linda Hunt and Dustin Hoffman, Jaye Davidson, etc, and laugh (at Adam).

Adam Sandler has become repulsive to me in his film choices.

    Nancy Kelly- THE BAD SEED

So bad it;s hard to believe your watching a serious performance. It’s like something out of an Ed wood film. Funnily enough Eileen Heckart in the same film gives one of the greatest performances to ever be nominated.

The other worst nominated performances ever include……..

Miliza Korjus – Merrily We Live
Dan Dailey – When My Baby Smiles At Me
    Brenda Blethyn – Little Voice.

All have to be seen to be believed.

I agree. Also Melanie Griffith in Working Girl, Keira Knightly in Pride & Prejudice, Bette Midler in For the Boys

I voted for Halle Berry in “Catwoman” because that speech she made for bashing that film is priceless!

There are so many poll threads being posted in these forums that I’ve
created a separate thread for them to bloom on their own. Thus, I’m
    shutting this one down.
