It’s close, for me, between Cuba, Renee, and Adrian.  I just saw Brody in “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” so there is still hope.  Renee fooled with her face too much, so I don’t think that was totally as acting related as it was for Cuba.  I never saw Roberto’s film, so I guess he may be heavily in the mix.  I feel Basinger was more lucky to get “L.A. Confidential” than anything, as a career after that was never really assumed w/great expectations.  Lastly, Sorvino is knocking on the door of that 3rd spot.

I wouldn’t quite put Adrien in that group, personally. His career hasn’t measured up to my expectations, but he’s still been in the good graces of Wes Anderson for almost a decade now, King Kong was a pretty big commercial/critical success (at least at the time), and he was pretty decent in Hollywoodland, Midnight in Paris, The Brothers Bloom, and even Predators. Granted, InAPPropriate Comedy is an embarrassment on his resume, but not much more so than appearing in Movie 43 like half of Hollywood did.

Not really sure why Reese and Adrien are listed but I went with Cuba Gooding Jr. He makes some bad choices: “Boat Trip” comes to mind off the bat

Witherspoon may return this year with Jean-Marc Vallee’s new film “Wild”.

I voted for Gooding, Jr., because he did Snow Dogs.
