Forgot to mention Erika. She’s easily becoming one of my favorite Housewives…She’s great.March 1, 2017 at 5:47 am #1202026840
OFFICAL CAST….and just what I think after seeing them interact a bit on GMA (and boy did that change a lot of what I thought)
1)Simone Biles and Sasha: They look like they gel well together so I am not surprised in the least. She seems equally as energetic as Laurie (its a gymnast thing I guess) so yay 🙂 Laurie surprising her made my day 🙂 Love Laurie.
2)Mr. T and Kym: He seems like a genuinely nice guy. From what I saw his dancing was interesting lol
3)Bonner Bolton and Sharna: Very nice guy. Quiet. Less known out of the group. Not much more to say.
4)Charro and Keo: Hurricane of energy with a very quiet pro. BenitoDelicias hit the nail on the head on that one in his post. Slightly disappointed that Keo isn’t counting his luck stars to get someone with that energy. She freaking ran into the crowd and is a blast to watch already…on her own.
5)Rashad Jennings and Emma: The surprise of the morning for sure. Love his energy.
6)Nancy Kerrigan and Artem: Second biggest surprise of the morning. Didn’t expect her to be as fun to watch…expected an ice queen.
7)Chris Kattan and Witney: The “funny one” of the group got overshadowed by Charro lol. He didn’t dance too much so I’m just going to say the jury is stil out on this one lol
8)Heather Morris and Maks: Ok so they brought up the Glee and Beyoncé stuff. Nice to throw that out off the bat. She seems fun and Maks seems happy to have her as a partner. Maks don’t screw this up.
9)David Ross and Lindsay: He is fun. Have no idea who he is outside of what they said but he is fun.
10)Nick Viall (Bachelor) and Peta: NOT PRESENT physically this morning but confirmed through live video so yay. She seems happy.
11)Normani Kordei (singer from fifth Harmony) and Val: They mentioned her crazy schedule already so that happened. She isn’t exactly exciting to be honest and Val seems super happy but like I said In the other post…only way I’m going to get excited about this pairing is if she is great
12)Erika Jayne and Gleb: So she seems fun…albeit a bit timid this morning.March 20, 2017 at 5:55 am #1202041311
Hey guys! Whose ready for tonight?!
Just a quick reminder of what dance style each couple has and just my guess on scores (spoiler I expect a lot of 7 and 8s)
Simone and Sasha: Tango (8,8,8,8)
Bonner and Sharna: Cha Cha Cha (7,7,7,7)
Chris and Witney: Cha Cha Cha (6,6,6,6)
Nick and Peta: Cha Cha Cha (7,7,7,7)
Mr T and Kym: Cha Cha Cha (6,6,6,6)
Rashad and Emma: Cha Cha Cha (8,7,8,8)
Charo and Keo: Salsa (7,7,7,7)
Erika and Gleb: Salsa (8,7,7,8)
David and Lindsay: Quickste (7,7,7,7)
Heather and Maks: Viennese Waltz (8,8,8,8)
Normani and Val: Quickstep (8,8,8,8) but she is OPENING THE SHOW so I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s straight 7s
Nancy and Artem: Viennese Waltz (8,8,8,8)March 20, 2017 at 6:11 am #1202041328
Just saw my post from two days ago isn’t there. So I guess that should say: Here are the dances for tonight lolMarch 20, 2017 at 10:21 pm #1202042086
My thoughts on tonight’s premiere:
-Heather, Rashad and Simone were definitely the standouts tonight! Each routine was full on content, entertaining and most importantly memorable.
-David Ross would have to be the biggest surprise of the night. I thought he wouldn’t be able to handle the quickstep but he did his thing.
-I was a bit underwhelmed with Nancy Kerrigan. I expected her to be tonight’s top scorer with the Vienesse Waltz.
-Erika Jayne, Nick, and Bonner all have potential to grow throughout the competition. Right now I think they will all place in the middle of the pack.
-Normani was definitely underscored IMO. I think her going first screwed her in terms of her scores.
-Mr. T, Charo, and Chris Kattan placed at the bottom as I initially predicted. I believe one of these three will be eliminated next week, which most likely is Chris.
After week one dances, here are my celebrity rankings
1. Simone & Sasha
2. Heather & Maks
3. Rashad & Emma
4. Normani & Val
5. David & Lindsay
6. Nancy & Artem
7. Bonner & Sharna
8. Nick & Peta
9. Erika & Gleb
10. Charo & Keo
11. Mr. T & Kym
12. Chris & WitneyMarch 21, 2017 at 5:40 am #1202042270
My thoughts (and ranking) of last night’s week one performances. Let me just say that these rankings are completely different than I expected them to be that’s for sure:
1)Simone and Sasha: I think she nailed it. Sasha has a contender and he knew it. Great choreography despite the odd song choice.
2)Rashad and Emma: Those football players can be a mixed bag but Rashad is giving some Emmitt Smith vibes and I loved it. Loved it.
3)Nancy and Artem: I liked this one a lot. She has a lot of potential. That Olympian competitiveness is just awesome to me.
4)David and Lindsay: The biggest surprise of the night. Dude can dance! Lindsay is magic choreography wise in my opinion and he is just a blast to watch.
5)Nick and Peta: Well….that was a pleasant surprise for sure. Dude can dance! I think he was underscored.
6)Heather and Maks: Underwhelming given her background…and I blame Maks for that. The choreography was good not anything to write home about though.
7)Erika and Gleb: She danced to her own song about how expensive it is to live her life. OK…odd. Saying that, I actually liked it. She has the entertainment factor in spades. Gleb had fun with that choreography that’s for sure lol.
8)Normani and Val: Oy…this one is a head scratcher for me. I like her and she can dance but I agreed with the 7s here for sure. Saying that, the whole “that score brings down my average” thing from Val just left a bad taste in my mind and that opening took forever. That seems to be a Maks-Val thing though. Once they got into the quickstep I kinda liked it though. She definitely reminds me of Sabrina Bryan….but with a bigger fan base lol.
9)Bonner and Sharna: I think he was over scored. He reminded me a lot of Albert Reed. He can dance though that’s for sure. Also, I can care less what he grabbed (twitter and facebook loved that last night) or if they have a thing for each other so I hope the showmance angle is axed soon with these two.
10)Charo and Keo: Yeah…that was something else lol. She is a blast to watch but the “por que?” and then the weirdness that followed that was just off putting for me at the same time. Not that I don’t want a celeb to speak his or her mind to the judges but that was definitely odd. Dance itself was fun though.
11)Mr. T and Kym: Let me preface this by saying that this is my favorite pairing out of the male celebs and I am a huge fan of his (and Kym 🙂 ) so it pains me to say this: He is not going to last long. I think he is safe next week but I don’t see him getting far. He really gave 110 percent and Kym made the choreography fun. So at least he is having a blast out there.
12)Chris and Witney: Well that was just a mess lol. I get his humor so I liked it but humor can only get you so far. He can’t dance and the decision to go the fun route was smart though.March 23, 2017 at 7:26 am #1202044479

Charo should have received higher scores and I expected higher scores based on the feedback.March 28, 2017 at 7:56 am #1202048625
My rankings (bolding my bottom two and underlining who I think will go home but italisizing who I think should):
1)Rashad and Emma: Damn! Now that was a winning dance. He nailed it.
2)Simone and Sasha: Underscored. Loved it.
3)Nancy and Artem: Underscored. She killed it
4)David and Lindsay: Was it as good as last week…no. Saying that, I loved this. He is a hoot.
5)Bonner and Sharna: Overscored but I liked it. NO to the showmance crap though.
6)Normani and Val: Overscored but way better than last week. Over the “crazy schedule” bs though. She chose to do the show so its no excuse.
7)Heather and Alan: That was very little jive but a lot of fun.
8)Nick and Peta: Yeah….not his best week. Still solid effort though and Peta needs to not make it so complicated for him right now.
9)Erika and Gleb: Yeah…no missteps nothing to write home about either. He is stuck in sexy mode since Jana and needs to just not go that route sometimes.
10)Charo and Keo: She is a good dancer but she kinda is annoying me now.
- Mr T and Kym: Love this pairing though 🙂
Have to mention that if Chris had stuck around I would rank him 10th.March 28, 2017 at 7:57 am #1202048628
Not sure what I did wrong but Mr T should be underlined.April 4, 2017 at 6:27 am #1202054386
Ok so this week was good.
1)Nancy and Artem: Loved this.
2)Simone and Sasha: Loved this.
3)Heather and Alan: Loved it.
4)Rashad and Emma: Underscored.
5)Normani and Val: There was not a lot of foxtrot in this. It was more of a jazz routine. Saying that, it was a blast to watch.
6)David and Lindsay: This was fun.
7)Bonner and Sharna: Yawn
8)Erika and Gleb: Meh
9)Nick and Peta: Meh
10)Mr T and Kym: Love them but its time.April 7, 2017 at 7:23 am #1202059453
Dance styles for next week are and my thoughts (and this is in no particular order):
Nick and Peta: Rumba: Kinda expected him to do a rumba since his most memorable year SHOULD be the year he got engaged but he is an odd one so I could be wrong. My guess on scores: (8,7,7,8)
Heather and Maks: Cha Cha: Maks and Cha Cha means boring to me.It;s his weak point for me. If Alan does the choreography and dances with her its different for me. Saying that it should be interesting. My guess on scores: (8,9,9,8)
Simone and Sasha: Viennese Waltz: This should be great. My guess on scores (9,9,9,9)
Normani and Val: Rumba: Val and Rumba is mixed. Sometimes he knocks it out of the park sometimes not so much. My guess on scores (9,8,8,9)
Nancy and Artem: Foxtrot: This should be great. Foxtrot is a strength for him. (9,9,9,9)
Rashad and Emma: Contemporary: Yeah this could be great or over the top. My guess: (9,9,9,9)
Erika and Gleb: Cha Cha: This could be her week. (8,8,8,8)
Bonner and Sharna: Foxtrot: Same thing I said for Mr T but I will add he can deliver but honestly he is kinda dull. (8,8,8,8)
Mr T and Kym: Watlz : It is what it is at this point. (6,7,6,6)
David and Lindsay: This should be great. (8,8,8,8)
