Here’s my rankings for this week:

     Dancing with the Stars Rankings

    1.
Corbin/Karina- Killed it. I knew that the Jive
would be the perfect dance for him.

    2.
Amber/Derek- I love this dance. It was one of
    the more entertaining performance.

    3.
Elizabeth/Val- She did a great job. Glad to see
her letting loose and having fun. Now that I know she can do Latin she’ll
definitely go far in this competition.

    4.
Christina/Mark- Better than last week. However,
she’s not brining the wow factor like I thought she would. She should be fine
    for a few weeks.

    5.
Jack/Cheryl- Definitely the surprise of the
season. I thought he would fail with the Rumba. Boy was I wrong.

    6.
Brant/Peta- It was okay. I felt that he was a
    little stiff in some parts.

    7.
Leah/Tony- She was a bit overscored, but I’m
glad that she let loose and had fun.

    8.
Bill E./Emma- I was pleasantly surprise with his
performance this week. It was entertaining.

    9.
Snooki/Sasha- She has potential but like the
judges pointed out a lot of posing.

    10.
Valerie/Tristan- I dunno why they gave her the
Paso so early lol. She tried but it wasn’t good enough.

    11.
Keyshawn/Sharna- He was stiff again. Love how
grateful he was to the show. However, dancing is not his thing.

    12.
Bill Nye/ Tyne- God bless him. Enough said lol.

Loved all the performances but Bill Nye was pretty bad. I actually think he was better last week.

Elizabeth was amazing and clearly somebody is spraying Val with fake sweat because I’ve never seen him so sweaty and he’s danced for longer songs and more dances than what he did this week. He was like that when the show began, not just after the second dance. They really played with me with those results, can’t believe the called them safe so late.

The numbers were ok this week, they definitely did a such a good job last week that this week’s dances looked a bit weak in my opinion. I do think Mark and Christina were most improved while Derek and Amber were a bit of a letdown after an amazing debut. Corbin is a great dancer.

The judges really don’t care for Snooki, they underscored her so badly, giving her the same scores as Bill Engvall?, please. They must hate Snooki, hate the reason she’s famous, and so on. She really did a good job. Was she posing? Yes, but so is everybody else. Let’s not pretend like everybody is a natural sensual person doing a rumba and Snooki just “poses” like one.

In defense of Bill Engvall, he looks like he’s not very good only because he’s older. You can tell that if he were younger he would be really, really good.

Leah Remini who I love (although sometimes she tries too hard at being funny) was way overscored and specially overpraised. When the dance began I was wowed with the pose and the J.Lo hair, but then the dance started and it seemed to me like right away she messed up. And she wasn’t THAT amazing either.

Bill Nye is annoying and his “fans” will try to keep him on while other more deserving people leave. Just wait until somebody like Christina gets voted off instead of him. Keyshawn deserved to go (poor Sharna), following him should be the Bills and Valerie.

I just love Valerie. I think her message is just keep on living as long as you can…She makes me weep. There are alot of people who are dying in this country and Valerie gives everyone a little  hope…

Apparently Bill Nye injured his knee and might be off the show.

Must be pretty serious/real for Deadline.com to making a story about it….

Rankings for DWTS (overall, this group of celebrities are
brining it. Usually each season has 3 or 4 couples that are great but this has
to be one of the more competitive seasons).

    1.
Corbin/Karina- I thought their performance was
really entertaining. I felt that he should’ve received a 27 for that
    performance.

    2.
    Amber/Derek- Another fun and energetic
performance from Amber. I see that the judges are trying to be slick with giving
her a high score week one only to keep her in the middle of the pack.

    3.
Snooki/Sasha- I’m not gonna lie Snooki really
brought the entertainment for me tonight. Her performance was lively and fun.
    IMO she deserved a 27.

    4.
    Christina/Mark- Another entertaining
performance. I think with each week Christina is gaining confidence and really
    bringing it.

    5.
Brant/Peta- Definitely his best dance. However,
he was overscored. IMO I think he isn’t pulling in the votes that they think he
    is.

    6.
Bill E./Emma- Was pleasantly surprise with his
    Paso. Another entertaining performance.

    7.
Leah/Tony- If this was another other season she
would be near the top. I love seeing celebrities like her who improve each
week. This performance was very sultry and sexy.

    8.
Elizabeth/Val- It was great but I was definitely
expecting more. I’m definitely not feeling any connection with her and Val. I’ll
give her to week 5 before she’s eliminated.

    9.
Jack/Cheryl- I figured that he would struggle
with the Cha-Cha. I think he’ll struggle with the Latin dances in the future.

    10.
Bill Nye/Tyne- Ehh I love his spirit.

    11.
Valerie/Tristan- Glad she’s having fun with the
show. However, I think that she needs to leave. It’s becoming a bit much for
    her imo.

Yeah this season the couples are really great.

I feel like with this cast, the judges need to think a bit more about their scores. They can’t just give Leah Remini an 8 and then just go ahead and give the same scores to Corbin Bleu, for example who danced much, much better than she did. I agree Leah was great this week, but sometimes scores just look waaay too equal when the dances really weren’t. And honestly, I think her acting and her hair are doing most of the job for her.

I’m happy with Snooki and her scores, I think she did a fantastic job. Perhaps I’m biased as I do geniunely like her and have done so since day one of Jersey Shore. That girl never, ever showed she could do anything remotely close to what she’s done on this show. Specially what she did this week. It’s a great surprise and I’m glad the judges got to see it.

The results portion of the week were ridiculous. I understand that with this cast it sort of has to look like this because they’re all great, but to put Mark and Christina there, it looks waaaaaaaay “not necessarily the bottom two”, because they’re no way they could end up there. Even Brandt and Peta…although in Brandt’s case one could understand as he remains one of, if the not the biggest “who?” of the competition.

    Here are my new rankings

    1.
Corbin/Karina- Loved the intensity of his
performance. I dunno what the judges were seeing but I loved it.

    2.
Amber/Derek- I was worried that the Tango would
be a problem for her. She did a great job and I thought she was scored
    accordingly.

    3.
    Elizabeth/Val- Definitely her best performance
so far. I’m glad that Val is bringing out her personality more.

    4.
Snooki/Sasha- For some reason I just love
Snooki. I really thought she would be a hot mess when she was announced as
apart of this season’s cast. Each week, I’ve been more and more surprise with
    her.

    5.
    Christina/Mark- Another alright performance. I
dunno, I was expecting more with her and so far I haven’t been impressed. I
think she’s probably checked out of the show after being in jeopardy.

    6.
Jack/Cheryl- Much better than last week. He had
    great frame with this performance.

    7.
Leah/Tony- She was a bit overscored. I dunno but
Tony’s choreography sucks imo. His dances never have flair or personality to
    it.

    8.
Bill/Emma- A little stiff but I love his
attitude towards the show. He’s definitely going to last longer than expected.

    9.
Brant/Peta- Thank God that he wasn’t overscored
tonight. He was so stiff in this performance. I think Latin isn’t his thing.

    10.
Valerie/Tristan- A little better than last week.
As much as I love her, I think she’s going to leave fairly soon. (edit: She was eliminated)

    My Rankings

    1.
Corbin/Karina- This kid is such a great dancer.
I love that he just let his guard down with each dance.

    2.
Amber/Derek- Love Amber! By far she’s my
favorite contestant of the season. Figures, Len would low ball them with that
    score.

    3.
Snooki/Sasha- This girl is so freaking
entertaining. If she keeps it up she may make it further than anyone expected.

    4.
Brant/Peta- Much better than I expected.

    5.
Christina/Mark- Definitely her best dance. I
wished she would’ve done more Latin dances in the beginning.

    6.
Elizabeth/Val- Disappointed with this dance. The
kicks and flicks weren’t that great.

    7.
Jack/Cheryl- Lovely dance. I’m really enjoying
    him as a contestant.

    8.
Bill/Emma- I love Bill’s attitude more and more
each week. I pegged him to be a cannon folder and he’s one of the few that
leaves a smile on my face.

    9.
Leah/Tony- Her dance is the reason why
contemporary shouldn’t be on the show. They set this couple up with this dance.

I love “surprise” eliminations. After last week and Mark complaining about Julianne’s comment, I actually was hoping they would be in the bottom two. It’s kinda funny to see Mark when his star gets eliminated. Every other pro seems calm and collected in that situation while he just seems so pissed off. Leah is probaly going home next week but just to see Mark’s behavior and words come back to bite him was worth it.

I didn’t watch last week’s episode, but it couldn’t have been that bad to make Christina go home. A very big shocker and like Brooke said, stranger things have happened before, Christina is no Sabrina Ryan and she got voted off ridiculously twice. But it makes very little sense because Leah was right there and was the obvious elimination and with reason.

This week I loved the idea of Elizabeth and Val’s dance, but I agree that it wasn’t her best. Val was going way too fast for Elizabeth and the difference showed more than it should have at this point, Elizabeth looked weak in some parts. But I’m old enough to remember that episode from Saved by the Bell and I loved the whole thing. It was fun too see them doing it again.

Leah should’ve been eliminated from this group and I don’t know where Bill is getting those votes from but he should go home too very soon. Everybody else did a great job. Once again I find myself amazed with Snooki, she’s doing things I never thought she could do. Sasha is not the best of choreographers though, I wish she would’ve had somebody different.

I agree that contemporary shouldn’t be on the show, it’s always the exact same choreography.

Another shocking elimination, Elizabeth and Val are gone now. There’s no need for me to watch this season anymore, I guess.

This show is turning into Vote for the Worst Central. Bill and Emma are still there, it makes no sense, their fanbase can’t be that big or important. And if that’s the case, how big can Jack Osbourne’s be? Leah Remini? Really? Their fanbases against whatever fanbase Elizabeth has plus her scores? Specially after a 30 this week.

I still can’t believe those three are still in the competition. And Emma, her face just sinks to new lows of embarrassment with every elimination.

Hopefully all these means that Karina and Corbin win. I don’t want to see Derek win again, but the Gleeks must be in full force too so….Glee might be a disaster, she might be off the show for good now and the show is sinking in the ratings, but I know people must be voting like crazy for Amber.

Elizabeth deserved to be in the finale not eliminated. Now the only good dancers are Jack, Amber, AND Corbin. Bill needs to go.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Axes Brooke Burke-Charvet
    By THE DEADLINE TEAM | Saturday February 22, 2014 @ 9:42am PST

The Season 7 winner and longtime host got news of her own elimination from ABC’s Dancing With The Stars Friday. “Weird day….Shocking pre-season elimination #DWTS… ME. @Tom_Bergeron didn’t even read my name. I won’t be returning to the show this season,” Tweeted Brooke Burke-Charvet late Friday night. The reality TV host (Wild On!, Rock Star, Miss America Pageant) replaced DWTS‘ Samantha Harris in 2010. The move comes ahead of DWTS‘ 18th season premiere on March 17. Last Fall’s finale was the lowest-rated finale in franchise history.

Yeah I saw this a few moments ago. Like I said on the previous page back when the show was on last year, her role was very much cut in half, so this can’t be a surprise to her. I do feel like those interviews with the contestants after the dance or the scores need to keep happening, so her role can’t be completely eliminated.

Either way, even though she was a robot, nicely called by EW’s recap girl “Brookbot Mountain”, she wasn’t the worst part or the biggest problem with this show.
