1)Simone and Sasha: Underscored. This was her best yet.
2)Rashad and Emma: 🙂 That’s all I have to say
3)Normani and Val: Yet again I am iffy on a Val dance this season. Not enough content. The singing in the opening took too long. But what she did do was good. So….yay? Honestly I’m starting to hate this pairing.
4)Nancy and Artem: She is coming for the MBT! Damn is she getting good.
5)Heather and Alan: Yeah this was an all 8s dance. Just good enough to make an impression this week but not as good as last week.
6)David and Lindsay: Good job but underwhelming.
7)Bonner and Sharna: I expected more out of this dance. It was good but he could be great and he hasn’t had that wow dance yet.
8)Nick and Peta: Yeah this was good but not great. Again underwhelming.
9)Erika and Gleb: Well that was underwhelming. Glad someone called her out on her sexpot streak….PS they have her RUMBA next week. So that’s a thing to look forward to…..my guess Aladdin and Jasmine from Aladdin.April 16, 2017 at 10:28 pm #1202068316

First “Surprise” elimination. Kinda saw it coming after last weeks “I can do jazz” and then it was underwhelming as hell. Sorry Maks but you caused this one.April 26, 2017 at 7:47 pm #1202077247

I agree. I felt that Maks never gave Heather exciting choreography that made her stand out. She was consistently overshadowed by Rashad, Normani, Simone and Nancy. With that being said, I don’t think she deserved to be eliminated before Nick and Bonner.April 27, 2017 at 6:15 am #1202077561
Agreed on Bonner and Nick (would say David as well but I’m fairly certain that he will be around for awhile). I don’t think Maks phoned it in this season with her like he did with Amber last season but that jazz was just so blah.April 27, 2017 at 8:47 pm #1202078390
Surprise elimination for sure. Glad that Maks is gone. Sorry for Heather though, and Alan too.
Those team dances were crap. The girls didn’t even dance.
Still rooting for Nancy and Rashad (and when I say Rashad, I mean Emma).May 2, 2017 at 6:45 am #1202082382
Gutted about Nancy but I’m more and more sure that the one holding the MBT at the end will either be Simone or Rashad. The show has managed to make their desire for Val and Normani very clear but this looks like Janel and Val all over again.May 6, 2017 at 7:22 am #1202085675
Yeah, sad to see Nancy (and Artem!) gone.
At this stage Janel and Val weren’t looking like winners or like the producers really wanted them to win. It was all about Alfonso and whoever happened to be in that final, they didn’t care. Val wasn’t as important to them considering Mark and Derek were still there. My reasoning for all the pimping is that Val remains their only male star and they need to keep pushing his status on the show. Normani seems more like a forced winner than Janel ever was.
Simone is not looking like a winner at all and I don’t think the producers are 100% to blame here. She hasn’t really been THAT good, something is missing with that girl. She’s very cute and sweet, great personality, but something is failing in the dance department.
Simone will not be able to take on Rashad or the producers extreme desire to make Normani the winner (she’s actually good, she’s better than Simone and keeping the 4th Harmony girl on board might mean more ratings too). Whatever power Simone has over the audience would’ve been more valuable last season, closer to the olympics).
I’m pretty sure that this whole David nonsense will make him stay over Simone who will finish fourth, leaving Rashad, Normani and David for the finale. And Normani as the winner. I think Rashad has power over the audience and it’s very good but it will be hard to beat Normani who might have more fans, will end up with higher scores and is obviously being pushed by the producers.
Bonner could not be a more obvious elimination for this week. He should’ve gone home instead of Nancy.May 6, 2017 at 8:37 am #1202085689
Would love to see Rashad holding that MBT instead of Normani to be honest (that’s if Simone doesn’t win).May 6, 2017 at 3:37 pm #1202085884
I dont have that many feelings towards Rashad and a possible win for him, so I wouldn’t really mind seeing Normani and Val winning. I do however have a lot of love for Emma, so if she gets to win with Rashad, well bring it. That girl has been screwed so many times by this show (like Artem, for example), that I’m all for that win. And if it has to be with Rashad who is very good, then even better.
Don’t care enough about Sasha and having not seen anything special with Simone, I would prefer a Normani/Val, Rashad/Emma win before those two. I would however like to see David eliminated before Simone, but I don’t see it happening. I love Lindsay too, but common, David just a goofball.May 9, 2017 at 6:48 am #1202088109
Glad that Bonner is finally gone…still think that he lasted one week longer than he should have. David is probably next but I’m baffled by the underscoring of Simone and Rashad. We get it judges…you like Normani a lot and really want her to win but don’t undermine the others.May 11, 2017 at 6:45 am #1202089877
Between Len’s ridiculous comment towards Bonner (true, but keep them to yourself), Carrie Ann going on and on about Simone (and her answer caused by Tom pushing it, which will make her seem like a little bitch to the audience) and Val’s ridiculous “Alan is the future of this show”, this episode was very, very annoying.
I can safely bet Simone is going home next week. The show is as desperate to keep David around as it is desperate to make Normani the winner. They’re trying their hardest to get rid of Simone and Sasha with his very safe first number (Carrie Ann was right about that one) isn’t helping a lot.
I really don’t care where Simone ends, I’m all for Normani and Rashad making the Top 2. It’s Nancy who should’ve been in the Top 3 instead of Simone and likely placeholder David. And both of them should’ve gone home before Heather…but that’s another story.May 11, 2017 at 8:03 am #1202089909
The only reason I think they are pushing Alan is I think they are going to give him Maks’ pro spot next season. It just feels like that.May 11, 2017 at 8:11 am #1202089913
Also, am I the only one not wowed by Normani’s dances this week? Her trio jive was good but the first one was just meh.
