Well that didn’t take long. And it was all about firing Burke and not about eliminating her role on the show completely.

Previous contestant Erin Andrews is the new co-host

What questions should we be asking in our predictions center for “Dancing with the Stars”?

The best question you can ask right now is: “When will the show end?”

This season has the least ammount of “stars” the show has ever produced, probably since season one. Only Drew Carrey and Billy Dee Williams were ever stars. This season is filled with atheletes showing the just can’t find enough celebrities to join anymore. If you go by salary, maybe you can say NeNe Leakes is a star in her reality world. All the ahtletes as are combined “WHO?”.

They actually got the woman who swam from Cuba to Florida last year? What’s next? Waiting for the youtube kid that didn’t want to go to the dentist to grow up? How long until Sophia Grace and Rosie and can be on the show?

Meryl Davis and Charlie White aren’t nobodies. Did you watch any of the Winter Olympics coverage? They were very much pimped and won gold in ice dancing.

Yet another premiere….Can’t believe I’ve been watching this show for so long, considering I got into it more than halfway through the show’s run….

Anyway, I’m a little bored right now so I’ll make this a long post….

My usual favorites and the ones I’ll vote for no matter what…

Maks and Meryl Davis: It’s seem like this is Maksim’s best shot at a win in years and years and years, so good for him. They obviously did it on purpose to get him back, this girl could’ve easily been Derek’s partner. She needs to eat though.

Val and Danica McKellar: She wasn’t very good, a bit of a mess clearly out of nerves and excitement, Val looks a bit screwed with his partner this season after being way too screwed out of votes last season and a win the previous one.

Mark and Candace Cameron: she was a bit of a surprise, Mark was Mark as usual with that floor dance, but it was very cool and the best dance/choreography of the night.

Somebody I love way too much I’m not even embarrassed anymore:

Nene Leakes: I’m a huge fan of the Housewives (yeah…) and I love, love, love Nene, so I was happy to see her be this good. The dance was a little bad because of all the solo time she got, but she moved way more than I would have ever expected her too. She was a stripper though, so maybe that’s where it comes from. Voted for her like crazy already, sorry haters.

Those that can go home anytime…

Amy Purdi: poor girl, feel really bad for her, but good at the same time for seeing her be able to do this much. I mean common, she did A LOT! I’m already cringing at the judges comments every week, somebody will screw up making comments about her legs like that magical incredible hilarious moment when Donald Trump told Marlee Matlin about Dionne Warwick “they tell you she’s a great singer?” and she answered “Well, I’m deaf”. Anyway, she did great so once again, Derek will end up on top or very close to the top.

Sean Avery: extremely uncomfortable to watch, the world loves a bad boy being bad, but common, the attitude is just way over the top and scary, that’s not a bad boy’s attitude, it’s far more than that and I think it could take votes away from him. And the show, the hosts, producers and clips are playing off this attitude way too much making things worse.

Cody Simpson: didn’t know Ginnifer Goodwin was blonde now and a pro on this show. The guy was the typical regular dancer that goes way too technical with the hand on the hip and the stiff moves. But he has a bunch of followers so who knows…..and also, anybody know who he is?

James Maslow: I don’t even know what Big Time Rush is, it was fun to see them create this drama that doesn’t look fabricated and forced for a change, I like Peta a lot so I hope he can stay for a while.

Charlie White: yes Sharna! that’s the reaction you have to make when the show finally gives you somebody who doesn’t suck. Good dance. Didn’t know she was so so short.

    The obvious eliminations….

Billy Dee Williams: very difficult to watch, very embarrassing, but you can’t feel sad for him since he knew what he was getting himself into a 70 somethings years old. The bad thing here is poor Emma paired again with an obvious early elimination, this season will not play out for her like the last one.

Diana Nyad: who? It’s ridiculous that they went this low for a “star”. Congrats on the swim, that’s amazing, but common!.

Drew Carey: can’t believe he lost so much weight, he looks so young. But he won’t around for long.

    – – – – – – – –

As for Erin Andrews…a lot of awkward moments, not that different from stiff and akward Brooke, throwing digs at Maks every chance she got, maybe they just wanted a new face even if it was more of the same.

So Billy Dee is safe, the next obvious option is off the show, Diana Nyad is the first to go.

They decided to vote two people off, I asume it’s because of the “surprises” they say they have, like changing partners, so maybe they’ll need an extra week and of course Sean Avery goes home. Who would want to vote for this guy with the creepy, rapey, one bad comment away from failing his anger management class, stalker face and/or expression.

So sad to see Karina Smirnoff eliminated so early. This guy could’ve gone further but whatever.

I don’t know why but I really didn’t feel bad for Sean being eliminated. Diana on the other hand, I felt bad for. This was a big thing for her.

Could someone please explain the scoring to me? It looks like I got everything right and only have 718 points, while the person in first place has 10200 with a wrong prediction. I also saw someone make the same prediction as me in one of the categories and get 5100 points for it while I only got around 250. I don’t get it.

Here are my rankings from tonight

    1. Meryl & Maks- Wow this was a spectacular performance from them.
    2. Amy & Derek- The emotion behind the dance is what sold it.
    3. Charlie & Sharna- Fun and energetic
    4. Danica & Val- Definitely her best dance so far.
    5. James & Peta- Great way to start off the show. For some reeason I can see him being a surprise elimination in a few weeks.
    6. Cody & Witney- Ehh the dancing was alright. Nothing too special imo
    7. Candace & Mark- Glad to see her let loose. Her hunched shoulders were distracting though.
    8. Nene & Tony- Much better than last week. I don’t think she’s going to last much longer in this competition.
    9. Drew & Cheryl- Another solid performance. I think Drew may be eliminated next week.

I really enjoyed Meryl and Maks, Amy and Derek, Charlie and Sharna, Danica, and James. The rest were ok but did not make me want to vote for them.

This was a nice week for everybody.

Least favorite Drew and Cheryl of course, I do think he’s going home next. I shouldn’t be any other way. Nene, sadly for me, is also next in line because everybody else is doing really really good. She was good.

Candice was a surprise for me because those kicks were just…there. For a jive, all the others did much, much better. I think she was a bit overrated this week with the comments but then got the right scores. Weird. Cool choreography though.

The Amy stuff was hard to watch. Such a strong story and such a great girl.

James was too much too soon (in a good way), it’s weird that he got so good already.

Danica and Val, Maks and Meryl and Charlie and Sharna were the best.

I didn’t like Charlie’s routine that much, I don’t get why they needed to take some much time dancing with the crew, but at times he looked like the pro and not Sharna. I don’t get why he always needs to be either last or close to last. They are pimping him way too much.

    Here are my rankings

    1. Meryl & Val- Go ahead and pencil her in the finals. That was an amazing routine.
    2. James & Cheryl- James is really surprising me this season. With that said, I think he’s going to be “shocking” elimination of the season.
    3. Charlie & Peta- Another solid performance by Charlie. I think the argentine tango and paso will be his better scoring dances.
    4. Amy & Mark- I felt she was a bit overscored.
    5. Danica & Maks- I agree with Julianne about Maks phoning it in.
    6. Nene & Derek- Without a doubt her best performance so far.
    7. Candace & Tony- Wasn’t too bad.
    8. Drew & Witney- This was a fun performance from Drew.
    9. Cody & Sharna- I wasn’t too pleased with his performance.
