Hm…I feel like “The Game” is going to dominate this year (it hasn’t in the past). This season got really high ratings, and everyone was really excited to see it come back. I think Tia and the show itself are going to win (breaking House of Payne’s streak), with other members in the cast definitely getting supporting nominations.

I thought Fisburne would be nominated for CSI! He was eligible, his acting was very good in his last episode.

Henson for Person of Interest is getting more to do and is now really worthy.

BET and TV One shows make strong showings, as shows canceled just this year, like HawthoRNe and L&O: LA, fall by the wayside. But I suspect that the Image Awards gets on the Modern Family train and give it its top award, with Vergara repeating. I’m guessing Williams repeats too, with Crews and Cannon winning in their categories. On the drama side, LL Cool J and Regina King likely repeat (although cheers to recognizing Pierce and Alexander this time!) in the lead categories, with, without Esposito, Pickens and Devine winning in their categories, and Grey’s Anatomy winning the top prize yet again. And I would think that the NAACP would honor Thurgood and Fishburne’s performance above all other contenders, with Emmy nominee Henson winning in her category.

IMO, these nominations are a lot better than last year’s. Hopefully, the wins reflect that.

    Archie Panjabi FTW!
