Go Fringe and Game of Thrones!!  I had forgotten that Game of Thrones was 10 or less episodes (I caught up on it after it had aired).  While I can sort of see Michael C. Hall continue to get nominated, the other nominations for Dexter are a joke at this point, especially the one for Edward James Olmos (and I love him in general, but he couldn’t save the sucky character and sucky storyline).   No Peter Dinklage for supporting??  I also would’ve liked to see a nomination for Emilia Clarke.  I’m most thrilled to see Lange, Torv, Noble, Kinnaman, Reedus, and Quinto in their respective categories.

So… does winning an Emmy make you ineligible in some way ? Or is there a typo ? Because “genre” awards not rewarding Dinklage seems… unbelievable.

Emilia Clarke also seems like a huge oversight, since she was the best actress on GoT.

Other than that, always cool to see Fringe, Noble and Torv nominated for these awards.

Yes, that’s really weird to see Peter Dinklage not nominated. But it’s trully great to see “Breaking Bad” leading the pack (although Anna Gunn should be there too). And what a thrill for “Six Feet Under” fans to see Lauren Ambrose and Frances Conroy nominated in the same category!

“The Killing” had 13 episodes, so why it is nominated in a category with a 10 episode limit? In any case, it’s silly to nominate shows with 10 episodes (“Game of Thrones”, “Falling Skies”) in one category and shows with 12 episodes (“American Horror Story”, “Dexter”, “True Blood”) in another.

Very happy for all the Breaking Bad acting nominations. and yeah, weird that The Killing is in the 10 eps or less category.

Also, “The Killing” has been moved to the appropriate category: Best Syndicated/ Cable Television Series.

I hope American Horror Story gets plenty of love. Especially for Lange and Conroy.

Wait… someone gave X-Men: First Class an award for Best Makeup? Wasn’t the makeup for Beast one of the more criticized aspects of the film?
