I am so glad to see you included Susan Lucci on your list of people worthy of inclusion in the Hall of fame. She is worthy indeed.

With that said, a few people you did not includ on your list are also very worthy of consideration in the future:

Candice Bergen, Actress, Murphy Brown, Boston Legal: 5 Emmys, 9 nominations

-Agnes Nixon, Writer/Producer/numerous soap operas; creator “All My Children” and “One Life To Live”.   Among her achievements are a Trustees Award from the National Academy of TV Arts & Sciences and a Lifetime Achiecement Award, she has been nominated more than 30 times for the Emmy’s (including a Primetime Nomination in 1973), she has won 5 Emmy’s plus the Lifetime Achievement Award.    She is as worthy as anybody for this honor.

Erika Slezak, Actress, “One Life To Live”, 9 nominations and 6 wins.   She is currently the single most awarded actress in Daytime Emmy history.

-Robin Strasser, Actress, best known for “One Life To Live”, but also known for “Another World”, “All My Children” and “Passions”. 4 nominations and 1 win.    Though her Emmy track record doesn’t sound all that impressive, what makes this talented performer so worthy of acknowledgement is her longevity within the medium and the cultural impact her most famous characters left. She has continually acted on daytime serials since 1967, when she created the role of Rachel Davis on “Another World”.    Her most famous role is Dr. Dorian Cramer Lord on “One Life To Live”, a signifigant character that she made more than her own; despite being the third actress to play the role, she undoubtedly became the definitive version of this character. She made Dorian such a complex and vital woman that she unknowingly influnced future characters on all soaps.     I consider her continued presence on soap operas an astonishing feat that is worth acknowledgment.   She has been continually employed on daytime TV since 1967.

If William Bell is worthy of inclusion than Agnes Nixon should also be inducted at some point; her legacy is simply undeniable and worthy of continued praise.  Candice Bergen is among the most celebrated performers to ever grace TV and her inclusion should frankly be a no-brainer at some point.    I mentioned Ms. Erika Slezak because though not as well-known as Susan Lucci outside of daytime; her excellent contribution to the serial medium is legendary and honestly set the bar for soap acting higher than anybody else could ever imagine.  Lastly, Robin Strasser is rarely even regconized for her continued service to the TV medium but the sheer fact she has been employed continually since 1967 is a feat surely deserving of acknowledgment.

Thank You.   I had looked at a list on the NATAS website but must have not seen them listed, but they are definetly there.

    Sorry.

With that said, my top choice for future inclusion, however unlikely is Robin Strasser. Her longevity cannot be ignored.
