Yes, “True Detective” was inconsistent, but come on, it deserved to get in over “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Jane the Virgin”.

All in all, a very uneven list. Not one of their best years.

Fun fact: Game of Thrones is the only show that has made the list in each of the last 4 years (and deservingly so).

Looking back at the list now that I’ve started to binge watch The Knick, it’s good to see it there, very very very deserving show.

Fun fact: Game of Thrones is the only show that has made the list in each of the last 4 years (and deservingly so).

Breaking Bad had the same streak until last year, right?

Also, Mad Men was there every year it was eligible if I’m not mistaken.

How to Get Away with Murder and Jane the Virgin over True Detective? Come on, AFI. Also, no Veep and TGW! Other than that, the list is good.
