Because May is so passe’, and other players besides broadcast and cable networks are in the game, too:

    Apri 30 – Hulu
    May 7-8 A&E Networks
    May 12: NBC
    May 13: ABC
    May 14: CBS, TBS, TNT
May 15: The CW, NBC Universal Cable

    From the other thread:

NBC released their schedule and trailers today:

    http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/nbc-fall-schedule-thursday-comedy-703119

    A few notes:

Parks and Recreation and Parenthood will have 13 episode final seasons.
The Blacklist moves to Thursdays at 9 midseason, and thus ends NBC’s long living Thursday night comedy block.
Tooken has been retitled Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and will premiere midseason.

As for the new shows, Constantine looks great and Mysteries of Laura could be good, other than that not interested in the rest.

Are we sure Parks and Rec’s final season will be 13 episodes. Its 3rd season debuted midseason and aired 16 episodes (it didn’t even have hour long episodes which is almost a guarantee for the final season).

Several sources are now reporting it could get as many as 16 episodes.

I see that Fox finally got tired of guessing which shows would still be around in January, and did not include any proposed midseason time schedule this year.

Also, the schedule on The Futon Critic is slightly misleading; Bob’s Burgers will not air on the same nights as Fox’s NFL doubleheaders.  (I am also assuming that the Utopia episodes on Fridays are repeats of the ones that aired three days earlier.)

Excellent schedule. I’m really glad Brooklyn Nine-Nine is moving to Sundays, it will certainly rate better there.

Remember that it’s up against an NFL game on NBC through the end of December (and the NFL has changed its scheduling rules to allow NBC to start choosing which games to air earlier in the season than before), and kickoff time is 8:30 Eastern, so in most weeks, the game will still be in progress even at 8:30 Pacific.

With the lack of a “midseason schedule,” it’s also not clear how many episodes The Mindy Project got.  If it got 22, then I fully expect another 22 next season, since “88 is the new 100”.

Providing there aren’t abysmal ratings, I imagine they’ll give Mindy a full 22 order so a fourth is guaranteed. I definitely think New Girl is in trouble if it doesn’t improve in ratings now that they have enough for syndication.

Is it just me or does Fox’s slate of new programming actually look really good?
