It’s the most wonderful time of the year… that no one pays attention or even knows existed. I had a thread before a week ago but I got rid of it accidentally. Here they are though, my longlists in most categories. These consist of 10-20 choices in every category that I am considering for awards contention.

But first a brief rundown of the rules. Shows that aired episodes between June 1st, 2014 to May 31st, 2015 (with the exception of the hanging episodes rule) are eligible. Unlike previous years, I have taken into precautions animated T.V. shows and their eligibility. Now voice actors can be chosen in either primary acting or voice actor, but no longer both. Also, a maximum of three contenders can compete in every category per show. Additional rules apply, but can’t go through every one right now.

And for those curious, Orange is the New Black is competing in Comedy.

With that in mind, let’s begin:

No Oppo Research for Drama Writing, but Red Zone for Directing? Please elaborate. 🙂

While I like The Good Wife, I don’t massively love it like a lot of people do. “Oppo Research” didn’t massive wow me as an episode, but it was still a good episode. Red Zone was my favourite episode of that season and I liked how it was directed.

Regardless, Good Wife had a pretty consistent season with lots of great episodes this season and I was this close to picking “Oppo Research” but I decided against it because I liked “Red Zone” at little more.

Come back tomorrow where I will announce the nominees. No said time when I’m going announce it, but I will say that this was really hard and some choices that I really wanted to get nominated didn’t happen. I think a lot of people will like the nominations, and no, there is not an overrun of American Dad! this year.
