With the success of Recount and Game Change I cannot wait till 2016 when we will get another go at it this time about Mitt Romney. Would it be a succes, will you watch it and who would you have play Romney?

Mitt Romney is too boring to make a movie out of. But I’d love to see who they pull out for Obama.

I’d love to see them make a movie about the rest of Game Change after this election:  The book is mostly about the Democratic primaries from 2008, but Roach and Strong didn’t want to cover that during the election itself because they didn’t want to be seen as making a political statement about Obama, so they just did the Palin stuff (which is a small part of the book).

I thought the same thing this week when the Romney staffers began anonymously bitching about each other to the press. Someone writing a book about this campaign is not going to have a problem getting the real dirt.

The Republican primaries alone will be a hoot to see recreated onscreen. Then the Ryan pick, the income taxes, inadvertently insulting the British during the Olympics, the “47-percent” hidden video, and god knows what else will come out over the next six weeks. I would give my eyeteeth to be the fly on the wall for this campaign. I wonder who will be their Steve Schmidt, played by Woody Harrelson in “Game Change”?

Don’t forget Clint “The Old Man and the Seat” Eastwood.

This guy (Enver Gjokaj) would make a good Paul Ryan lookalike.

After this past Sunday’s results, I am convinced that it has to be Jon Hamm as Mitt Romney, with Amy Poehler as Ann Romney and Steve Carell as Paul Ryan thrown in for good measure to hopefully get at least one of them an Emmy!

Since Hope Davis was cast as Hillary Clinton before and she has been attached to many HBO projects over the past few years, this role will probably go to her.

And they need to find a way to include Rick Santorum in the film so that Glenn Close will make a cameo as Karen Santorum.
