Jenifer Lewis from Black-ish and Martha Kelly from Baskets need to get nominated for Supporting Actress in a Comedy.

Dan Levy needs to be nominated for Supporting Actor in a Comedy from Schitt’s Creek.

People complain about Tomlin and Fonda in Lead Actress, but they deliver the goods and deserve to be nominated.

Also, Saturday Light Live does not need to be in a Comedy Series.

If Zazie Beetz misses two of the next five episodes, she’ll be guest eligible. I doubt they would submit her there, but where would she be more likely to get in?

Just to confirm, the new rule about including a multi-cam among the directing nominees does not extend to the writing category, correct?

Alec Berg, who wasn’t directing in the previous season of Silicon Valley, is writing and directing this year’s finale. He was nominated for his last directorial work on the series in 2016. That’s three directing contenders for the show – Mike Judge, nominated for every season of the show; and Jamie Babbit, who got her first nomination last year.

I’m predicting Judge and Berg, but even two nominations seems like a lot.

i think by virtue of being a series regular she will be submitted Supporting regardless if she qualifies for guest. This season has sort of been broken up in bits that are all part of something bigger so they’re not following season 1’s format so episode appearance probably isn’t a thing for series regulars.

I think Sara Gilbert only gets nominated for Roseanne if voters actually watch the show. Otherwise, it will be just name check nominees Goodman and Metcalf.
