I’m finally binging Arrested Development next year and I want it to win comedy series next year.

How are you just watching that now? 2nd best sitcom of all time right there. Do we know if it will be eligible next year or if it’s just coming out sometime in 2018?

That it’s just coming out on in 2018. My guess is that they’ll go for the Memorial Day premiere date they did last time

So how about limited series next year? Do you think we’ll be looking at ACS vs Twin Peaks? Since the vastly superior Fargo couldn’t even beat ACS season 1 I doubt Twin Peaks will, but I also don’t think the Katrina subject matter will resonate as much as OJ did (although it really should be considered more important than OJ) maybe this time people won’t be so caught up in the excitement of seeing the OJ stuff reanacted that they’ll see its flaws. With Twin Peaks, the praise it’s gotten has been far from universal. Lots of critics and fans weren’t very impressed with those first four episodes. Are there any other upcoming limited series you can see winning at this point?

I’m not sure that Twin Peaks is competing in limited. The limited race will be vastly different next year. Maybe AHS can get back in. Top of the Lake has raves that could lead to a win. American Crime is cancelled. Fargo probably won’t be back. Waco could be something potentially.

I would assume Twin Peaks will be competing in limited since it’s being advertised as a limited series event and is on am official basis, seems to be considered a completely separate show from the original. There’s also that upcoming Amy Adams/Jean-Marc Vallee show, Sharp Objects. No release date yet but if it’s eligible it might be a contender.

Shots Fired definitely needs to be nominated for an Emmy, that was the best show of 2017

I know I have Seinfeld 1 and Arrested Development 2, 3-5 are I Love Lucy, 30 Rock and The Wonder Years in no particular order.

I’m surprised people don’t have Friends in their top 5. If Curb Your Enthusiasm were categorized as a sitcom (clearly isn’t), that would definitely be my #1 over Seinfeld.

    My personal faves:

    1. Seinfeld

    2. Arrested Development

    3. Parks and Recreation

    4. The Office

    5. 30 Rock

Friends is so overrated. I’d classify Curb as a sitcom, it would rank in my top ten for sure.

Also @hunterbergfeld i’m curious to know what you think of Arrested Development season 4, you have to come back and tell us your opinion on it when you finish.
