I’m almost done with season 3 so I’ll be done with 4 tomorrow probablyJune 2, 2017 at 12:13 am #1202108661
Have an open mind!
Also @hunterbergfeld i’m curious to know what you think of Arrested Development season 4, you have to come back and tell us your opinion on it when you finish.
I finished. I thought the beginning was slow and boring and still funnY but not near as good as the first three seasons. It was best in the middle when everything started tying together. It was perfect. I thought the last few episodes were not as good but still good. I reallY liked season 4 once it picked up but I thought it should have been shorter episodes and not as many. I still loved it though.LaChienneParticipantJoined:Jan 4th, 2017Topics:3Posts:3061June 2, 2017 at 8:01 am #1202108902
Season 4 was the best when it was back to being an ensemble piece as it should be. The individual arcs were so hit and miss.leothescorpioParticipantJoined:Jul 7th, 2015Topics:16Posts:1055June 2, 2017 at 8:26 am #1202108935

Sounds good on paper but we all saw how Wizard of Lies went. I’ll reserve judgement.Andrew CardenParticipantJoined:Jan 16th, 2016Topics:16Posts:2030June 5, 2017 at 4:34 pm #1202111718
Even with its lukewarm reviews, The Wizard of Lies could still garner a bunch of awards love. Just look at Phil Spector.

Oh I fully expect it to get a good number of nominations due to the weak TV Movie field I was more speaking of the quality.June 8, 2017 at 8:29 pm #1202115051
Y’all I was looking through Jimmi Simpson’s IMDB page and I think I found a show that’ll be huge if it came out in time.
It’s Directed and produced by Anthony Hemingway, the producer of Underground, American Crime Story and Treme and the director of “Minty” from Underground. Also produced by John Blair, the producer of Agent Carter and The Leftovers.
Its starring an amazing cast featuring Aisha Hinds (automatically amazing), Bokeem Woodbine, Jimmi Simpson, Michael Harney, Josh Duhamel, an more.
It’s on USA and is about the murder of Tupac and Biggie Smalls. What could the name of this show (that sounds so amazing) be?
Super anticipated for it and I bet it could win some awards for its newcomer leads if it ends up good.ricardo505ParticipantJoined:Jun 14th, 2015Topics:0Posts:50June 9, 2017 at 6:03 am #1202115447
I wouldn’t be surprised if an actor from “Will & Grace” wins. There’s no tough competition so far to McCormack, Hayes and Mullally. The only exception is Messing, who will have to fight for the award against Julia Louis-Dreyfus (and let’s be honest, JLD is always a threat unless she doesn’t submit herself).RileyParticipantJoined:Oct 11th, 2010Topics:81Posts:10972June 9, 2017 at 6:57 am #1202115484
I still think that Will & Grace will not be a factor.DenisParticipantJoined:Oct 14th, 2011Topics:65Posts:4603June 9, 2017 at 7:50 am #1202115516
Stranger things isn’t winning. Haven’t we all learned anything from all of “Downton Abbey” sweeps? “The Crown” is winning everything, unfortunately.RileyParticipantJoined:Oct 11th, 2010Topics:81Posts:10972June 9, 2017 at 7:52 am #1202115519
When did Downton Abbey sweep?Andrew CardenParticipantJoined:Jan 16th, 2016Topics:16Posts:2030June 9, 2017 at 8:33 am #1202115540
I can’t fathom any show sweeping. Stranger Things probably scores Directing and a bunch of techs, The Crown takes an acting prize or two and some techs and The Americans and Better Call Saul at last pick up a little steam in terms of wins. Westworld too likely takes a couple of prizes.
