Well NBC is the best bet to put money on the most cancelations but usually it seems ABC cancels first. Look at Lucky 7 last year. 2 episodes. So I think it will be between Manhattan Love Story and The Mysteries of Laura with Bad Judge creeping up as well. But what do I know. I thought Dads would be the first to kick the bucket but it lasted for a long time

    Cancelled:

CRISTELA is an easy pick. They made such a big deal of this woman and this show, how quickly it was picked up and developed and shot. Then the trailer came and it looks like a disaster.

MULANEY looks just as bad. But with talented people, so you never know in those cases. For now, yeah cancelled.

The combo of Madamme Secretary, State of Affairs, Bad Judge and Mysteries of Laura, shows I want to see succeed because of their stars, but they look bad and like nobody will care.

    Renewed.

Gotham seems like the best pick for surviving. The Flash too.

I’ve heard very good things for Jane the Virgin but I don’t know how the CW audience will react to this one. No superheroes and no vampires, so will they watch?

Red Band Society and How to Get Away seem safe. Not hits, but safe.

Thank you for creating this thread.  I almost did this myself, but was too lazy, lol.

Gosh I hope How to get Away With Murder and Red Band Society succeed.  I am so excited to finally see Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer ( former co-stars multiple times) get their own projects to lead.  Since the hollywood movie industry could not fnd something good for them, I am glad the TV world has welcomed them with arms wide open.  From everything I have heard, those shows are supposed to be two of the new seasons strongest and should likely be renewed.

I think the safest bet for renewal would be Fox’s Gotham.  The buzz has been building for months and from early reviews it sounds like the show delievers and then some.  I would not be surprised if Fox renewed it after only two-three episodes.   Next would be the Flash on the CW.

When it comes to quick cancelations, my money is on:

    Manhatten Love Story, Selfie (ABC)

Mysteries of Laura (NBC)- who thought Debra Messing playing a hard ass detective was a good idea?

Mulaney(Fox)-The reviews say this show is downright horrible.  Despite the talented cast, it sounds like this show is a total misfire.  Besided the fact John Mulaney is totally gorgeous, it looks like there is no real reason to check it out.

Other shows most likely to end up cancelled would be:

    Bad Judge (NBC)

    Cristela (ABC)

    Forever (ABC)

    Madam Secretary (CBS)

    The McCarthys (CBS)

    Scorpion (CBS)

    Stalker (CBS)

    State of Affairs (NBC)

    My views based on trailers.

     ABC

    1. Forever

Comment: I thought seemed not too bad of a premise. But whether they got a good enough engaging storyline to another detective show needs to be seen. I’m still torn about this. I’m giving this a “determined by end of season”. if other shows are cancelled, it might stay at least for a whole season.

    2. Black-ish

Comment: Having Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne got to count for something right? hehe. anyway, i think there’s potential in this with two father-son dynamics. hoping that the writing won’t be too slapstick and it might just be renewed.

    3. How to Get Away with Murder

Comment: I can’t see the ABC links cos it’s not available to my country so I searched for other links. This has a lot of things going for it: A Shonda Rhimes show, Viola Davis, an interesting premise about the law and being a lawyer. I think this seems to be a good bet for a renewal.

    4. Selfie

Comments: I actually kinda liked the trailer that I was seeing. In saying that though, can they really stretch the premise of this show for future seasons? It seems it might work better as a movie. I see that almost everyone so far predicted it to be cancelled. For now, I say it really depends on whether other shows are cancelled. if not, it might be one of the first ones out of ABC.

    5. Manhattan Love Story

Comments: Okay, issit me but I like the trailer I’m watching when others are predicting it to be cancelled? LOL. But yeah, I understand if it’s gonna be cancelled. Quite a flimsy premise and viewers might get bored with the storyline as a series. I guess yeah it might get cancelled.

    6. Cristela

Comment: With that timeslot and laugh-track comedy, I’m thinking this might be the first few shows to be cancelled.

    CBS

    1. Madam Secretary

Comment: I’m gonna admit that I’m a fan of political shows. In knowing that though, not every show has been successful with the networks even if I like it. Interesting to see two of the cast members of House of Cards appearing on this show. I’m not sure Tea Leoni has necessarily the attitude to play this role to perfection but yeah, I’m sitting on the fence for this. CBS has never really been strong for anything besides reality shows, cop dramas and laugh-track comedies. So this is on the brink, I will guess.

    2. Scorpion

Comments: This looks good, if it was a movie. A good premise but I’m unsure if it can really be stretched out for storylines. Thankfully, it is on CBS, which is kinda good at this kind of crime-related shows. Which this is in a way. I’m on the fence on this. I think really depends on how the season goes. If it doesn’t pick up, it will be easily cancelled.

    3. NCIS: New Orleans

Comments: This will probably get renewed. They have Scott Bakula and CCH Pounder and a tested premise. Seems good to stay.

    4. Stalker

Comments: Another crime-related drama. Having Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott does helps, I guess. This is another one where it is possible that it might be renewed.

    5. The McCarthys

Comments: Another family comedy? I’m guessing this might be cancelled.

    NBC

    1. The Mysteries of Laura

Comments: In the trailer I watched, I was surprised they gave the pilot away. This seems to be a blend of comedy and drama. I’m not sure actually how much the episodes would work but I do like Debra Messing usually. This is new though seeing her playing more of an action role. I will give it at least one season probably and then see whether they will pick it up or not.

    2. Bad Judge

Comments: Well, I guess one good thing is Will Ferrell is attached as a producer. I think Kate Walsh do get into the role but not sure whether the show can really maintain viewers. I’m guessing this might be a blend of dramedy, like in the pattern of Boston Legal? But yeah, definitely can see it being cancelled.

    3. A to Z

Comments: Hmm… I could see this being cancelled also. I’m not sure viewers will be attracted much. It will really need a strong few episodes to be renewed.

    4. Marry Me

Comments: I guess something good is if it comes from the creators of Happy Endings. But Ken Marino doesn’t have a great record with shows. And frankly, not sure whether the show will be that good enough from the premise. Probably cancelled.

    5. Constantine

Comments: This looks to be quite promising but seems might be better suited for CW maybe. Not sure whether the viewers will flock to this as much. Think might be determined by end of the season.

    6. State of Affairs

Comments: Seeing that this comes from the director of The Blacklist gives me pause that it may turn out good. There is star power with Katherine Heigl and Alfre Woodard (Emmy nom for her?). I think there’s potential in this and it could be renewed.

    FOX

    1. Red Band Society

Comments: This actually looks not bad but I would have some reservations if not for Steven Spielberg and Octavia Spencer. Could this be another Nurse Jackie? I think this might at least have one season and possible to be renewed.

    2. Gotham

Comments: I’m pretty sure this is ready to be renewed. With the interest in comic books peaking, definitely this seems to be a good one

    3. Gracepoint

Comments: Apparently, this is the US version of Broadchurch. I have been hearing about the show of course due to some posters (haha) but yeah, looks interesting. Quite a good cast here. Not sure if this is a one season or it’s gonna be like an AHS with multiple standalone seasons but definitely looked to be renewed.

    4. Mulaney

Comments: This has a strong supporting cast of Martin Short & Elliott Gould but I’m not sure if the show seems that funny. It might be cancelled.

    CW

    1. The Flash

Comments: Renewed! haha. with all the positive news coming on, this is a no brainer.

    2. Jane the Virgin

Comment: Hmm… Quite an interesting story. I guess the CW viewers might like it. But I’m not sure. This might turn out to be cancelled.

My whole thing about “Selfie” is this: First commercial made me go “Ugh”. Second one made me laugh. This show’s success relies on how the writing is and if people will like this “My Fair Lady” in a modern day thing.
