Yep I am doing it again.

The Longlist has officially been made public on my blog (link is below).

I have made a couple of rule changes. Orange is the New Black is now a Drama, Allison Janney in Mom will still be in Supporting, Alec Baldwin is a Guest for SNL, A Series of Unfortunate Events is a Comedy, etc. Some actors who are supporting are judged as guests by me. There is a limit of three actors per show that can qualify in each acting category.

One major rule is that I have decided to not overrun my awards with too much American Dad! (lol). But seriously, I am having it so that if you qualify for acting categories as a voice-over actor, you cannot make Voice Acting. That being said, you can qualify for both if you are a guest. This lead me to make some kinda difficult decisions with some actors that I really like.

NOTE: If any category is not mentioned in the longlist below, it doesn’t mean that I am omitting the category altogether. Those are only from me reading over the Emmy submissions and deciding which ones would qualify from my awards. Every other category that has been shown in years prior will be still available unless I say otherwise.

    LONGLIST: http://tylertheawesomeguy.blogspot.ca/2017/06/2017-tylers-choice-television-awards_14.html

Enjoy reading. The nominations will come in a couple of weeks.

Have you seen all of these shows? I’m somewhat curious as to how you put Guerilla on your long list but not the amazing Pinto and and Ceesay.

I do something sort of like this except I don’t do it for the current TV season, I do it for a certain number of tv shows I’m watching, old and current and do it every few months. Example, last time best drama series was Fargo season 2 vs The Wire season 3. It’s also way less comprehensive, hence why Fargo is in Drama series, I don’t do limited series.

    Yours is much more interesting.

I see most of them. Guerrilla was admittedly one that I have yet to check out. I was considering Freida Pinto though. Thankfully, I am a pretty cool guy and may put her name in if I feel she is worth it.

I went through all your previous ones to see if you awarded any of the same things I did in my thing, even though it’s mostly completely different shows competing.  I found 2, Julia Louis-Dreyfus for guest actress for Arrested Development, and casting for season 2 of 30 Rock. Also, with Fargo season 2 we both gave that series, lead actress, director, and cinematography just mine was all in drama not limited. Several nominations in common too.
