Archer has been the best animated program on television in my estimation the past six seasons, so while I’m sad to see it end, I hope they go out with a bang in season 7, which starts tomorrow night (3/31). Here’s the masterpiece of a trailer, recreating the opening sequence of Magnum, PI:

Is it really ending? I hope so, because it’s overrated as hell.

Wait what? I have not heard anything about this being the final season. Where did you hear this?

When it was renewed for seasons 6 and 7 in 2014, it was indicated that would be it. But now they seem to have walked back from that. This season was originally supposed to air on FXX as well, but it’s been moved back to FX.

Good news to me, if it does continue. I changed the thread title for now.

Yeah I don’t think they announced anything about ending in the recent months. I did notice the switch back to FX which I am happy about. No offense to FXX but that channel is not doing favors for some of their great shows like You’re the Worst and Man Seeking Woman ratings wise

FX has mailed Emmy voters a DVD with the episodes # “The Figgis Agency”, #3 “Deadly Prep” and #4 “Motherless Child”.

F/X announced today that they have reached a deal to renew the show for an additional three eight-episode seasons.
