Who is the best star who never recieved an Emmy nom, even though they had a huge contribution to televison?September 1, 2015 at 2:57 pm #359891
Television Hall of Famer Michael Landon
Are any of the listed actors going to reach the Hall of Fame (besides the already inducted Desi Arnaz)? Maybe Courteney Cox or Katey Sagal, but probably not.September 1, 2015 at 3:08 pm #359892
If we’re looking at who deserved a nod for a specific role, I would say Courtney Cox for FRIENDS. However, because it’s looking at their careers, the one who deserves a nod the most is Katey Sagal.September 1, 2015 at 3:18 pm #359893
Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes, House of Lies)September 1, 2015 at 3:22 pm #359894
This is really difficult.
Katey Sagal gave win-worthy performances in both Married… With Children and Sons of Anarchy.
Courteney Cox, at the very least, should have one nomination each for both Friends and Cougar Town (Dirt was fun, but nothing awards worthy).
I would add Mindy Kaling to the list. Hopefully she won’t go as long without a nomination as Sagal and Cox have.September 1, 2015 at 3:28 pm #359895
Voted Dominic West because he should be winning this year.September 1, 2015 at 5:44 pm #359896
I would add Mindy Kaling to the list. Hopefully she won’t go as long without a nomination as Sagal and Cox have.
Kaling has been nominated multiple times, she was a producer on the American Office for the majority of its run, and she was nominated for writing an episode (Niagra). She has been nominated six times in totalSeptember 1, 2015 at 7:13 pm #359897
I think it’s crazy that Desi Arnaz was never even nominated.September 1, 2015 at 7:28 pm #359898
If you watched “Behind the Red Door” , from “The Americans”, or even the writing nominee of this year, you probably know what a travesty that she is on that list.September 1, 2015 at 8:03 pm #359899
My choice is Alan Reed. As the voice of Fred Flintstone, Reed is simply iconic. How many voices are instantly recognized more than 50 years after they first debuted? In voice over animation, he gave one of the legendary TV comedy performances.September 1, 2015 at 9:15 pm #359900
Courteney Cox!!! She should be an Emmy WINNER for both Friends and Cougar Town and doesnt even have a nomination for either under her belt! Big mistake by the tv academy. WTF is the only thing i can think of and how has this never happened for her. crazySeptember 1, 2015 at 10:53 pm #359901
Nick Offerman has created one of the most iconic television characters this decade. I will forever be irritated that he was never nominated.September 1, 2015 at 11:17 pm #359902
I’d include Lauren Graham in the list. Between “Gilmore Girls” and “Parenthood,” she should have been nominated eight or nine times by now.
