The Arrested Development poll was quite diverse, but one person was heads and shoulders above the others, it seems

    – – – – – – – – – – – –

    (1) Breaking Bad – Bryan Cranston
    (1) Arrested Development  – Jessica Walter

    – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Sandra Oh, by a mile. She was deserving for the Emmys every single year for all 10 seasons.

My runner-up is Sara Ramirez who has a great chemistry with Jessica Chapshaw on the show and the lesbian storyline is just entertaining as hell! For the 6th and 7th season she was deserving of an Emmy (nomination), especially for the musical episode.

Chandra Wilson is just breahtaking as Miranda, she had many memorable moments, but in the past few years she had not much to do. Her last really good work was in the series finale of the sixth season.

Ellen Pompeo was deserving of an Emmy nomination for the 3rd season and Katherine Heigl for the 2nd, 3rd and 5th (win) seasons. Liked T. R. Knight and Kate Walsh as well.

Kate Burton‘s guest starring was amazing and Loretta Devine‘s Emmy victory as Adele in the show is among one of my favorites.

Sarah Drew seems to be the strongest among people not mentioned in the poll.

In my book…Emmys for the main cast and the series (no guest mentions) of “Grey’s Anatomy”

Drama Supporting Actress – Sandra Oh (winner)
Drama Supporting Actress – Chandra Wilson

I’m in medical school (on my way to becoming a doctor!) and I always wanted to be a Cristina because I have just the cold hearted bitchy but very kind on the inside persona going on but my colleagues say that I’m a Meredith when I’m with patients. She annoys me sometimes so I’m not sure if thats a good thing.

Irrelevant personal trivia aside, I think Sandra Oh is just the most outstanding actor of that show, followed by Chandra Wilson and Sarah Drew (for that shooting special alone they both should have garnered Emmy nominations). I stopped watching the show the minute they killed Lexie though.

Kate Walsh did an amazing thing in turning an intended one-note villain for 6 episodes into a full-fledged character that became its own spinoff. Sandra Oh was obviously incredible, but I think Ellen Pompeo has gotten the recognition she deserves for the work she has done over the seasons.

Gotta go with Wilson.  In the early days “Bailey’s” pursed lips and spot-on monolouges always mirrored my thoughts about the characters.

It’s a little unfortunate that Oh is winning this so easily, not because she doesnt deserve to win (she got my vote), but it makes it seem like she’s the only good one in the cast! haha Wilson was an extremely close second for me, especially considering the earlier seasons. And Ramirez doesn’t get the credit she deserves, especially with how well she often functions as the comedic relief for the show. And Ellen Pompeo of course did very well carrying the series, which I think is probably harder than people realize. Whatever people say about this show, the cast has always been great.

I liked Wilson quite a bit in the first couple of seasons, but after that-I don’t know if it was Chandra or the writing or both- everything about Bailey just became too much.

IMO, I think Ellen Pompeo has become the strongest of the cast!
But Oh was the best from early on!

I’ll vote for Ellen Pompeo. She doesn’t get enough credit for anchoring the series as well as she has over the years.

It was actually Sandra Oh who made the series memorable. Ellen Pompeo is strong, but she’s not enough – that’s why I’m worrying about the future. Without Cristina, I’m not sure that Meredith will be able to entertain me – they were too memorable each other. Shared many worthy moments.
