Surprised to not see a thread for this year’s crazy season of Big Brother.
So we’re four evictions in, yet these houseguests seem like they’ve been playing HARD since the very first week. We’ve seen the Moving Company fall completely apart, we’ve seen Elissa making “widows” of three women and almost everyone has been on the block so far. Yet through it all there’s been the nasty stench of racism permeating the house while the show gets higher ratings with each new episode.
So how are we feeling about the new season? Personally, I think this is already the best since BB10.July 29, 2013 at 7:56 pm #292680
I think it’s an interesting, diverse cast – some likeable people but it also contains the greatest amount of awful individuals than ever before.July 29, 2013 at 8:21 pm #292681
I’m rooting for Amanda to win. I loved her bit with Clowny. They better not flip and evict her on Thursday.July 30, 2013 at 7:47 pm #292682
I’m personally rooting for Helen. I think she’s the smartest one with the best game play. I think she needs to ditch Elissa as soon as possible because she’s absolutely ruining her game.
I know there’s been a lot of controversy this season but I don’t think that it’s been that great of a season so far. Nearly everyone started playing far too hard too fast and I don’t think it’s made the game better. The reason most of these people will be remembered is because of the hate they spewed, and not actually for what they did in the game. I hate that Aaryn’s getting blamed for all of the rude things being said in the house when at least 4 of them have said things like she has.
With that in mind, I do love this show and I’m so obsessed it’s not even funny, lol. Here’s hoping to a Helen/Amanda/Andy final 3!September 5, 2013 at 8:58 pm #292683
Had no idea there was a thread for this, but tonight I searched and found it.
This is my 3rd summer watching this show with my boyfriend (who got me started on it)…My off season guilty pleasure. I get into the drama big time and tonight’s show started out with the happiest eviction of all 3 summers and ended with the saddest eviction of the 3 summers.
As long as Andy (twat) or McRae (simply by association with Amanda) don’t win I’ll be fine…but I really wanted Elissa to win! Even though I was so mad her sister won the first year I watched.September 12, 2013 at 3:46 pm #292684
CBS’ ‘Big Brother’ Renewed For Season 16
By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Thursday September 12, 2013 @ 1:00pm PDT
CBS’ summer staple Big Brother will return next year for a 16th cycle. Additionally, live, late-night companion show Big Brother: After Dark, which moved from Showtime to new CBS sibling TVGN this summer, has been renewed for another installment on the basic cable network (form. TV Guide Network.) Big Brother, which recently marked its 500th episode, is averaging 7.29 million viewers and 2.6 ratings in adults 18-49 this summer. Despite impact from the prolonged blackout on Time Warner Cable, the reality veteran is up +11% in viewers and +8% in adults 18-49 vs. last summer. The current 15th season of Big Brother will conclude with a 90-minute finale next Wednesday at 9:30 PM, immediately following the season premiere of another long-running CBS reality series, Survivor. Big Brother is executive produced by Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol USA.September 12, 2013 at 4:29 pm #292685
Worst. Season. Ever.September 18, 2013 at 2:56 pm #292686
I hope the jury feeds the rat some cheese tonight.
Anybody find it funny how the exterminators alliance was all about evicting the rats and snakes when in reality they had the rat of the season in their alliance and thus didn’t ‘exterminate’ him? How sad.
