I feel like this show deserves it’s own series finale thread, don’t care if not one soul comes here to comment, it is just a very good show to go bye unnoticed.
Feel Free to discuss.
Moderator’s feel free to deleted or lock it if necessary, but you didn’t with other shows like Breaking Bad so, I hope you don’t.October 26, 2014 at 8:44 am #338117
EPISODE 8: ELDORADO
In the series finale, Nucky thinks about moving
to Manhattan; Margaret impresses a stockholder at a grain company;
Willie shares his knowledge of organized crime with his boss; and
Gillian sees a familiar face at the hospital.
In 1897, a young Nucky deals with a family crisis, and comes to an
agreement with the Commodore that will chart his career path.October 26, 2014 at 11:40 am #338118
End of a great show is always a sad day but this season has been great so it must be pretty great to know that it didn’t end like True Blood did (weak season with some good moments).October 26, 2014 at 1:08 pm #338119
This has been an excellent season, and the show has really improved the past few years. I won’t be able to watch this episode in the next few days, but it’s too bad it’s so quiet about it ending when it’s much better than it’s hyped early season was.October 26, 2014 at 6:59 pm #338120
Ye I’m quit sad about the last few weeks that only 4 or 5 people regularly commented on the series official thread during the season, I also won’t be able to watch the series finale until tomorrow or after tomorrow .October 27, 2014 at 8:06 am #338121
Just watched it, that was just a magnificent piece of writing, from
start to finish, Howard Korder and Terrence Winter were so carefull to
end all the arcs, the way it all came full circle and made sense to
things we saw on the first season and things we saw here on the last
one, the final shot, Margaret’s dance with Nucky, Eli’s state of decay
and Capone’s last talk to his son whas a terrific thing to watch, I wish
this would’ve been 1h and 30 minutes, that way Luciano and Narcise
could have had a proper final minutes to wrap it up better than it was.
thing with Gillian and the Comodore was just horrific, and to see how
Nucky got what he deserved because of that was sad for the character,
but satisfying for the viewers, in the end it all got to him, I never
ever suspected the boy was Jimmy’s son. Also, Mark Pickering and Maya
Kazan , both whom played Young Deputy Nucky and Mabel were just the
perfect cast, I can’t say how great Maya Kazan was on her final scene. I
believe this is the first frontunner for writing and directing of the
2015 emmy season.
Farewell to the Boardwalk. One of the all time’s best drama.
